How to Adjust Assist Tension on the Gorilla Lift Tailgate Assist

Question:
I put my Gorilla Lift on and worked great and then I found that I need to add a piece of tail to my tailgate I added that And my lift does not assist now is there anyway to put more attention on the Gorilla Lift

To incraese the tension on your Gorilla-Lift Utility Trailer Tailgate Lift Assist w/ Cable part # GL1 the connection points on the ramp should be mover higher on the ramp. Move it up and check for assist and just set it to your preference. Once you have found the sweet spot permanently attach the cables and you are set.
