Will The Gorilla-ift Tailgate Lift Assist Fit On a 10' Utility Trailer With 2' Dovetail?

Question:

i have a gorilla brand 10 ft trailer with a 2 ft dovetail looking for a lift assist for that brand The specs and measurements are as follows Top of rails to floor 13 inches Gate is 6ft by 3ft Bottom of dovetail to top of gate is 36 inches With strait edge to trailer floor it would be 32 inches from floor to top of gate Will this lift assist work for me i and if not do you have something that will ThankYou Very much for any info

We have installed the Gorilla-Lift Utility Trailer Tailgate Lift Assist # GL1 on similar trailers to your Gorilla 10' trailer with a 2' dovetail. I have included an image below of a similarly designed trailer which has a taller gate. The Gorilla lift has 2 springs in each side which will allow you to try out different combinations of springs to provide the correct amount of lift to easily raise and lower your tail gate.
