Hey Kevin,

For a 2021 Hyundai Tucson I have the following recommendations:

Trailer Hitch: etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e54AR. ***Note this will not fit Night Edition models with dual exhaust tips***

4-Pole Wire Harness: Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # C89KR. This will splice into your factory wiring and give you a connector to transfer your light signals to the trailer.

7-Way: To be able to actuate the brakes on your trailer you'll need to then install the # ETBC7. This plugs into the 4-pole harness and would have a wire to run to the battery and one to the brake controller you choose. You'll want to pick up a no-drill bracket # 18136 to mount the 7-way to the trailer hitch as well.

Brake Controller: Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty Brake Controller w/ Universal Wiring Harness # RED52VR. The Liberty is one of the smallest and easiest brake controllers to use. The control knob is just a dial that goes from 0 - 10 so there's no guessing game when it comes to tuning in your settings. Since it's so small you can mount it into the dash instead of below it so you won't hit your knees on it getting in and out of the car. I have this brake controller in my truck as well and I love it.

Finally, you'll need to pick out a ball mount to complete the physical connection to the trailer. I've attached a help article link below to walk you through measuring to see if you need a drop or rise to keep the trailer level while towing. That being said, if you think you're going to tow multiple trailers at some point I would just get the # e66PR. It has a 6" rise or drop and is super easy to adjust. At its price point you can't really beat it so I've also purchased this ball mount myself. If you're only planning on towing this one trailer then go ahead and measure to see what rise/drop you need and you can get a non-adjustable ball mount that's the right rise/drop and save some money.
