Choosing Between Air Lift Load Lifter 5000 or 7500 For 2018 Ram 2500 Towing 5th Wheel

Have 2018 ram 2500hd diesel with factory fifth wheel. when towing trailer down 1. would the AIRLIFT 5000 series work or would i need 7500 series. thanks

It sounds like the purpose of getting the air helper spring would be to counteract the 1 inch compression you're getting in your rear suspension caused by the pin weight of your 5th wheel. If that's the case, I believe that the AirLift 5000 would be sufficient, as the pin weight of your 5th wheel is very unlikely to be more than 5000 lbs.
When you're not towing, the 7500 series would make for harsher ride quality, so I'd go with the 5000. The 7500 series is better suited for folks that haul really heavy cargo or material in the bed of their truck.
The AirLift 5000 series would work well for you, as long as your truck isn't equipped with the factory air suspension. I'd recommend the # AL57289 Load Lifter 5000 system, unless you live near a salt water environment or live in the rust belt, in which case I'd recommend the # AL88289 which provides an internal jounce bumper for better loaded stability. As opposed to the Firestone Ride-Rite, the Load Lifter 5000 is compatible with in-bed hitches.
You might also be interested in a compressor system like # AL25856 that would allow you to add or remove pressure from the system with the touch of a cab-mounted button.
