The Air Lift 1000 Universal Air Spring Kit gives up to 1,000 lbs of load-leveling support inside your rear coil springs. It helps keep the vehicle level when hauling or towing, so braking and steering stay consistent and headlight aim stays true. That means smoother handling and less wear on your tires and suspension when the load gets heavy.
Every haul is different, and this setup adjusts to suit it. You can fine-tune each spring with manual inflation valves to match the weight you’re carrying—add air for stability under load, or let some out for a softer ride when empty. Each side can be inflated separately to even out off-center loads. If you want more convenience later, you can add a compressor system (sold separately) to monitor and adjust pressure on the go.
Rough roads, sway, and bounce are part of hauling—but these polyurethane air springs absorb shock and help smooth it out. They fit neatly inside your existing coil springs for extra support without changing your ride height or replacing parts. Just measure your coil’s inside height and diameter to match this kit’s 5" minimum diameter and 9" maximum height rating. This product did everything I hoped it would, no more bounce and sway while towing. I would recommend these air bags to anyone towing a trailer.

Holy cow, so it’s been over a year, I have had no problems at all matter fact, I forgot the airbags were even on there, they’ve held air once I got them where I want them. I have not even touch them they work fantastic, like I said 10 years ago I used them on the wife’s car and I came back because it’s such a great product, kudos to airlift.

Another year and the bags are still working great. They are used every time we do a trip with our camper. No issues note: you will experience minor pressure decrease over time but nothing major.
