Very satisfied with this equipment! Super easy to install- I’ve only done this once before and it took me about 15 minutes, my wife wanted to help and did most of it her felt. Super easy Install, super simple, looks good with a low profile. You can barely even see it! I have a couple additional Curt accessories and they all work beautifully! Highly recommend.
Installation took only a few minutes once the car was on the lift. Did NOT have to cut or remove the muffler hanger as others have suggested. Only had to stretch it a bit by pulling down on the pipes.
I have not had a chance to try it yet, but it is very solidly mounted. I do not imagine having any difficulty with it.

Wonderful products went on so easy everything including the bolts and washers were there with videos that were so helpful The quality of this hitch top notch. Well worth the money.
Hitch came in quick with all the hardware to install. Didn't have to remove the exhaust hanger. Snaked it in on the passenger side first by twisting it through the gap. Bolted up in 5 minutes. The side bolts were a snug fit but an open wrench made quick work of it. Love the fit. It tucks under the bumper nice.
The hitch I received was absolutely great. On-time delivery and the product was exactly as advertised. Instructional videos were awesome! I installed the hitch with no issues. I would highly recommend etrailer.com and will use them for all my trailer needs in the future.

Fantastic Receiver with excellent form and feature. Easy install, perfect fit. This is the second I have bought and will buy another from them if I ever need a new one..The photo shows my original Thule rack inserted into the new 2 inch receiver.
Installed the Curt trailer hitch receiver on a 2018 Hyundai Tucson Limited and It looks awesome. Also, it wasn’t difficult to install. If you have a dual exhaust, you will need to remove the rubber exhaust hanger prior to install. This is a high quality product and fitment was perfect. Would definitely purchase again and highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a trailer hitch receiver.
This is a really nice tow hitch for my 2018 Hyundai Tucson. It's solid, and I like that it's mostly hidden. If you watch the video, it's easy to install. At first, I tried to install without moving the muffler out of the way, but that did not work. I sprayed a little lubricant in the rubber muffler hanger and that helped it slide out easier with a prybar. Other than that, it was about a 10 minute install.
The only issue I could bring up would be the packaging. Upon arrival, one end had busted through the cardboard box. A little extra padding would have solved that.
But still, it was a great purchase...so much cheaper than anywhere else.
I purchased this to install on my 2016 Hyundai Tucson. I decided to install myself because it was cheaper and more visibly appealing than having it installed by a local retailer. Product was as described and well-packaged. It's a very solid, heavy hitch which make me feel comfortable about its reliability. The installation video was VERY helpful! I did have to go online and buy the exhaust removal pliers which added an additional $20 to my overall costs. It would be very hard to remove the rubber hangers without the pliers. I read one review that said they actually cut the hangers off and then just replaced them. This was probably a cheaper way to do it but you'd have to have some type of major cutting tool to cut through those rubber hangers. Also, the plastic covers I had to remove on my 2016 Hyundai Tucson did not pop out as easily as the video made it appear. This was actually the most difficult part for me. Once I had the covers off and the muffler lowered attaching the actual hitch was a breeze! It just bolts right on. You will need a torque wrench to install this as well which I also had to go out and buy for another $20+. Overall, I am happy with the purchase and installation wasn't too bad. I also like that the bar does not show under the vehicle so all you see is the actual hitch.
Purchased this Curt hitch for my 2016 Hyundai Tucson and couldn’t be happier! Shipped quickly and arrived in good conditions hardware and directions in a bag, taped to hitch opening so nothing was crushed or damaged which is always appreciated. Directions were clear. Watching the video online helped with installation. After taking off 2 plastic panels, this hitch went on with no complaints!! I did not have a wire brush to clean out the existing mounting holes on my car, so I twisted up a bunch of pipe cleaners and that did the job :) Looks greats on my car and I can’t wait to use it!!
Ordered this hitch for my daughters 2017 Hyundai Tucson so she could carry a bike rack. Read plenty of reviews on this site and felt comfortable it would do the job. Ordered atound 6:30pm on a Wednesday evening and the package was delivered by noon that same following Friday. Great service! The hitch installed just as advertised. Sprayed a little lubricant on the rubber anti vibration hanger holding up the muffler and it came off the mounting bracket without any problem. This let the the muffler drop down a couple inches to allow for installation. Mounted the hitch to the vehicle frame at the factory installed mounting points. Everything on the hitch and frame lined up perfectly and all mounting hardware was provided. Finished installation by reattaching the muffler hanger. Had the hitch installed in 30 minutes start to finish with two persons. Could not have been any easier.
Feels very solid and heavy duty. Good quality finish. Everything lined up well and fit perfectly, though it is a pain to get in with just one person. Install video is spot on. Make sure you really clean out the bolt holes in the frame, and test fit the bolts before lifting the hitch into place. Starting the bolts whole trying to lift and twist the hitch into place was by far the most difficult part of the install. Once they catch and support the weight it's a breeze.

Fits like a glove. Very easy installation of the hitch. (15 MIN) The wiring was ok.. no exact model directions but i was able to get it installed in 30 mins. Etrailer awesome place to buy from. Will refer many more to this website. Excellent customer service.

After a year my product still looks good it performs well Ive used it many times with no problems at all again I would highly recommend purchasing from this website
My tule cam locking bike carrier is quite lose in this hitch. It might be because it goes quite deep into the receiver to line up with the locking hole. I can't tighten the locking mechanism any more and there is still a lot of play even though it's locked in. I have an OEM hitch on my Acura and it fits great. I've thought about returning to hopefully find a better fit.

Thank you for your review. This is a class 3 hitch so that is why it may be fitting a little looser than your Acuras hitch. An anti-rattle device should keep everything tight:
Installation on our 2019 Hyundai Tucson was super easy. We only use a hitch to haul mountain bikes in this it is perfect for the job.
Installation on my 2017 Hyundai Tucson SE (single exhaust) was a cakewalk. Didn't even have to lower the exhaust at all. Just had to remove 6 reusable plastic rivets in order to remove the two splash guards, which was incredibly easy. The entire installation took about 15 minutes. It says it's a 3 for installation but I'd give it a 2. The thing was packed incredibly well so it arrived in perfect condition. The free shipping only took like 3 days. I'm very pleased. I'm using this with a Hollywood 4 bike hitch rack.

After a year it is still working great.
Bought a 2019 Hyundai Tucson and ordered this tow hitch. Ordered, and delivered quickly, very fast service. Packed very well and in good condition. Took out of box, removed hardware, and installed by myself. Very easy, only needed a ratchet, 3 inch extension, one socket, and one combination wrench. NOTE to Hyundai owners, the passenger side rear fairing hinders getting side bolts in, but will pry easily away with a combo wrench, just needs a gentle nudge. This is the second tow hitch ordered for a car and have been VERY satisfied with the results both times. Order and install yourselves, save a ton of money! Only thing I wish the folks at etrailer would do is provide a cover plate for the hitch opening.

Still works great, use it often with a Thule bike rack, no problems.
Purchased the 2" Curt hitch for my 2017 Hyundai Tucson, specifically for use with my Kuat hitch mount bike rack. Ashley was extremely helpful in placing my order and the hitch arrived at my door within 3 days! The installation video was extremely helpful, and the install took all of 30 minutes, once I got the car up on ramp stands. Removing the muffler hanger was probably the most difficult part of the install but a little WD40 made a world of difference. It definitely takes 2 people to hold the hitch up into the mounting position as this thing weighs nearly 30 pounds. Once installed the hitch is hidden from view except for the receiver box. The only criticisms I have of the Curt hitch are that 1) it is REALLY heavy and 2) the 2" receiver is actually more like 2 1/4", which leaves a bit of extra room for the ball attachments, bike rack to rattle around a bit. My 2" hitch on my GMC has much closer tolerances. Overall, fantastic experience with etrailer.com!
