    • Designed for use on a vehicle with an existing 4-way flat trailer connector
  • 25' Long, 10-gauge duplex wire is wrapped in an abrasion-resistant cover
    • Connect one wire to the blue wire on the brake controller
    • Connect one wire to the positive post on the vehicle's battery via the included 40-amp circuit breaker
  • Pre-wired 7- and 4-way trailer connector mounts easily at rear of vehicle with included bracket
    • Plugs into existing 4-way trailer connector on vehicle
  • Heavy-duty circuit breakers - (1) 20 amp, (1) 30 amp, and (1) 40 amp
  • Circuit tester helps you find the stoplight switch wire above the brake pedal

    • Quick-splice wiring connectors
    • Self-tapping screws
    • Zip-ties
    • Wire loom for a professionally installed appearance

Note:

  • Extra-long vehicles: If you drive a crew cab, extended cab with long bed, cargo van, minivan, or extended-length SUV, 10' of extra wire (10-2-1, sold separately) will make installation much easier.

  • Parts Needed to Install 7-Way and Brake Controller 2024 Toyota Grand Highlander
We can definitely help install a brake controller and 7-way on your 2024 Toyota Grand Highlander but first the brake controller I recommend is the Redarc Tow Pro Liberty part # RED24FR with the install harness part # RED69FR. As this controller puts only a small knob on the dash of your vehicle and works really well using an inertia sensor to sense how hard to apply the trailer brakes. You will also need the 7-way kit part # TK57VR that its your vehicle which also comes with brake controller...

  • Do 2024 Kia Telluride's Come With A Trailer Hitch And Wiring Already Included
Kia Tellurides are in our install shop all the time for hitch and wiring installs since Kia typically will not install them at the factory. Manufacturers use "tow package" as a buzz word to charge you more typically so you'll want to get explicit descriptions of what is included with the vehicle. If it doesn't come with a trailer hitch then you can install the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13420. For wiring you would first need to install a 4-pole wire harness like the Curt Powered Tail...

  • Hitch, Weight Distribution and Brake Controller Recommendations for a 2017 Toyota Sienna XLE
We can get you everything you need for towing with your 2017 Toyota Sienna XLE. By plastic shield, I believe you are referring to the appearance panel underneath the Sienna, and that will have to trimmed a bit in each of the hitches available for the vehicle. A great Class III hitch would be the Curt # C13105, which is rated for weight distribution and has been given a nearly 5-star review on our site by the over 500 customers that have rated it. As for a brake controller, the wireless...

  • Difference Between Curt & Draw-Tite Trailer Hitches For 2018 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited
Hi Ken, Starting with the wiring harness, I can verify for you the correct fit for the 2018 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited without a tow package is indeed the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 118786. Then for the hitches, the biggest difference between the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13392 and Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver # DT78MR is the length of the receiver. The Draw-Tite has a shorter receiver that can make it a bit more of a pain to add a ball mount...

  • Comparing the Universal Installation Kit # ETBC7 and the 7-Way RV Upgrade Kit # ETBC7L
There are a few differences between the Universal Installation Kit part # ETBC7 and the 7-Way RV Upgrade Kit part # ETBC7L. The biggest one is that part # ETBC7 comes with both the power and brake output wire you will need to run to the cab/battery whereas the part # ETBC7L only comes with the power wire you will need to run to the battery. The reason for this is because part # ETBC7L is geared more towards wireless brake controllers like the Curt Echo Mobile Trailer Brake Controller part...

  • Correct Trailer Hitch Receiver for 2022 Ram ProMaster 3500 With Long Wheelbase
Since your 2022 Ram ProMaster 3500 has the extended 159" wheelbase you'll need to go with the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 76050 instead of the Hitch # 75882 you're looking at. Over the years we've found that the 75882 has issues with a driver side bolt cutout and the spare tire release on the extended wheelbase ProMasters which is why that exclusion exists. The 76050 that does fit has a completely different mounting bracket design so the installation isn't a problem....

  • What Wiring do I Need to get My 2022 Toyota Highlander Ready for Redarc Tow-Pro Brake Controller?
Hello Dan, We can most definitely get you set up to use your Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty brake controller in your 2022 Toyota Highlander. Since you were looking at the # ETBC7, I’m assuming your Highlander does not have the factory tow package. To equip your vehicle for a brake controller, you’ll first need the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # TK99FR. This is fairly simple to install, with the most challenging part being the removal of some paneling to access...

Hi Mike! Do you want a completely hidden hitch or one where only the receiver is visible? The Hidden Hitch by Draw-Tite # DT76GR will also work and has a completely removable receiver when you aren't towing. To add a 7-Way to your 2021 Ford Bronco you will need a 4-Way kit like the recommended T-One # TK99VR and then the Universal Wiring Kit # ETBC7. The T-One plugs in behind the tail lights of your Bronco and gives you the standard light functions while the ETBC7 comes with everything you need for a fully functional 7-Way. Usually we only see 7-Ways with OEM connections for trucks so your anything smaller than a truck you usually have to install a 4-Way and then an additional kit like what...

  • Installing Tekonsha Brake Controller On A 2020 GMC Savana Cutaway
I can definitely point you in the right direction. These Savana models can be tricky when installing a dash mount brake controller like the Tekonsha P2 # 90885. If the vehicle has the factory tow package with a 7 way plug, there should be a blue wire for output run under the dash. It would be located near the emergency brake pedal. Some models will have the connection wiring taped and tucked under the driver side floor mat up towards the firewall. Those wires would be labeled which is...

Yes, our 7-Way Kit # ETBC7 will connect into your factory 4-way on your 2024 Subaru Crosstrek. This means you will not have to splice into the tail lights. The kit does include universal wiring for both a charge line and Brake Controller # RED52VR which will require you to connect to the battery and splice into the brake switch since your Crosstrek does not have a factory plug and play option for the brake controller.

  • No Trailer Connection on Tekonsha P3 Brake Controller 90195 on a 2000 Toyota Tundra
I would start by inspecting the connector on your trailer and the vehicle to make sure there is not corrosion in the connector which could be causing a bad or weak connection. If there is corrosion in the trailer side connector, you would need to replace it with 7-way Connector, part # A7WCB. For the replacement vehicle side connector, you would need Adapter 4 Pole to 7 Pole, part # 30717. For future use, I would recommend using Dielectric Grease for Electrical Connectors, part # 11755,...
