Parts Needed To Convert a Triple Axle Toy Hauler With 5,080LB Axles To Disc Brakes 6 on 5-1/2 Bolt

Question:

Hello. Im looking for disc break convertions for my triple axle toyhauler each axle sais that us 5080lbs for gvwr of 16950. My wheels are st225/75r15d and is a 6 lug. What break kit do you recommend. I only see 7k axle kits and theyre 8 lugs.

While we do not have a specific kit for your triple axle toy hauler with the 5,080lb axles we do have all the parts you will need. You will need to verify the bearing and grease seal sizes used on your axle to ensure I have all the correct parts listed below. You should have a grease seal with ID of 2.25", inner bearing ID of 1.75" and outer bearing ID of 1.25". Please let me know if you have something different otherwise here is a list of all the parts you will need.

Hydrastar Electric Over Hydraulic Actuator # HS481-8067 Qty 1
Hydrastar Hydraulic Brake Line Kit # HS496-253 Qty 1

I do recommend carrying extra Bearing Oil # XLPROLUBE, Bearing Cap # XLPROLUBE2440 in the event the cap breaks or gets knocked off. You can also carry extra Bearings # 25580, # 15123 and Seal # XLPROLUBE2440SEAL in case they get damaged while on a trip.
