Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at this single-zone thermostat for your Furrion Chill Cube ducted RV air conditioners. Now, this single-zone, wall-mounted thermostat's going to let you view and adjust the fan speed, mode, and a whole lot more. This is designed to work with your ducted Furrion Chill Cube RV air conditioner setup and I do wanna point out that this is going to only be compatible with the Chill Cube components, just so you're aware of that. So, this is not going to work with any other system.
The digital display and the buttons are gonna let you view and change the fan speed, mode, and other settings. You have a clear display here. This is going to be a wall-mount installation with the included screws here. This also includes the control box as you can see here. Instructions are also included to guide you through that installation process.

Thermostat is a bit larger than previous models but looks similar. Has a backlight and furnace control. Used existing wiring with little box inside Chill Cube. Ran separate pair for furnace. Easy install and unit works perfectly.
Works fine the instructions on how to plug in could be a little more clear.
Doesnt turn my furnace on. Had to install heat only thermostat. Other than that this sytem is great.

I am extremely disappointed with both etrailer and Lippert/Furrion in regard to this product. I Ordered this to connect both my Chill cube 18k and my Atwood/Dometic furnace. Unfortunately, it does not do what it is branded and advertised as doing. The thermostat controls the Chill cube; however it will not communicate with the furnace. I originally followed the directions included with the Thermostat and couldn’t get the furnace to work. I contacted etrailer and spoke with Joy for assistance and was informed they have limited ability to help, and I should contact Lippert. I then contacted Lippert and was given a wiring schematic that differed from the manual and still couldn’t get the furnace to work. When I contacted Lippert again, I was told I needed to contact the furnace manufacturer. The issue is that Cody at Lippert insinuated that I had connected the wires in reverse, Lippert was unfamiliar with the Atwood furnace and was unsure which wire coming from the furnace was 12v+ and not sure which wire was ground, Cody said if the wires were reversed it would fry the board. I contacted Dometic which purchased Atwood and was told that the wires coming from the furnace are simple communication wires and could not have fried the board, that the Lippert thermostat is simply not compatible or defective. I feel that I am being run around, and nobody wants to accept responsibility. I work hard for every penny I earn and feel I have simply burned $60 simply because I wanted a thermostat that would control both my A.C. and furnace rather than two separate wall thermostats. I guess I expect too much from today’s manufacturers and retailers. I suggest if you are looking for a new efficient A.C. as I was, wait till newer R32 units enter the market.
