Box was not damaged at all everything looks like it should

by:

Product arrived damaged and no remedy offered. Unfortunately the installer didn't uncover the damage until after my previous unit was removed. Thankfully he's worked on many Chill Cubes (and loves them) and was able to make a fix but it cost me an extra in service and night's stay since this is my full time rig. When asked etrailer to help offset my cost of damaged product, simply got "we don't cover service" overlooking that the product was damaged. We would have accepted credit--we're new to RV'ing and happily paid a little extra to order through etrailer instead of Amazon to support independent retailers and better customer service. I had it shipped directly to the installer because of the weight/size and this is a first time experience, we didn't think to check it personally (obviously we will now). Super disappointing and discouraging first time customer experience, especially with a higher dollar product.

by:

cools great in the Arizona desert. Temp currently outside our RV is 107 and inside is a plesant 81'
thanks for the prompt service.

Joshua was very helpful and plesent.to talk to

by:

Ease of installation, Extremely quiet! Much better than the Dometic Penguin 2 it replaced.

by:

So far this AC has perform excellently and a lot quieter than the Mach

by:

Works like a charm and super quiet

I am now running two of the Furrion chill cubes on my 40' Forest River Work and Play. Not the best insulated trailer I have ever owned, but the two units on 30 amp power kept my trailer at 72* on a nice hot, humid Florida summer day. Heat index was around 102*. Now it is only June, so I am sure the real test will be an August or September day.

by:

Installed in an enclosed trailer. Had to reinforce the ceiling to support AC, seems to work well on genarator or by using an extension cord. Doesn't cool trailer completely but didn't expect it to without insulation, however keeps it comfortable with 100 degree temps outside

by:

The Chill Cube 18000BTU non-ducted cools down the Motorhome great! An easy install.

by:

The salesman at ETrailer is great very nice helpful. The 18,000 BTU Furron cube is the quietest air conditioner I’ve ever heard and it is much colder air from it compared to the other two units I’d like to replace the other two with the Furron cube

by:

Naomi D was an absolute joy to work with, very pleasant and took the time to answer all my questions. As for the Furrion, so far so good..very impressed with packaging and the overall quality of this unit..absolutely a huge step up from Dometic! Will be back for another on for the Central unit that is failing now…don’t ever buy a Coleman lol.

by:

Heat conquered. Installed the unit in about three hours by myself. Came with all the parts needed. Due to the specific requirements of the school bus roof, I added supports between the steel. We ran it over the weekend while camping! It ran fine on my 3000w Renology inverter over the road between sites. I really like the gear function to run the unit at 50 or 75% to save on some power use of the batteries.

by:

The AC is top notch. Huge difference over the 15k dometic pos I replaced. Only issue is there was no way to hook furnace wires to the system. I'll have to get a heat only thermostat and wire that up later. This ac throws snow for sure.

by:

Scheduled installation for today. Caleb from Performance Trailer Service came to my home and did the removal and installation in about two hours. The Furrion was cool and quiet and probably much more energy efficient than the Coleman, which it replaced. I look forward to seeing what it will do when I put it to the test.
Thank you Tyler and eTrailer for getting this to me a month ahead of schedule!

by:

AMAZED with this unit. It lives up to the quiet yet functional hype. It was easy to install and started running immediately with no issues. We researched for a long time and so glad we landed on this unit.

  • Can I Install a Ductless Furrion Chill Cube in a Ducted Setup?
You sure can, Evan. The Furrion Chill Cube RV Air Conditioner w Air Distribution Box - Ductless item # FR27TD will fit inside the same 14-1/4" x 14-1/4" cutout that the ducted Furrion item # FR99TD fits. The systems are set up entirely different so you shouldn't be blowing air into the vents anyways but it wouldn't hurt to put some foam blocks in there. We also have the Ductless Furrion Chill Cube available in White item # FR59TD. Why are you wanting to switch to a ductless setup?

Hey Mike! You can replace your Coleman Mach 15 with the Furrion Chill Cube. However, you're going to need the entire system since it uses the new R32 refrigerant. Installation is really straightforward, you can check it out in the video I attached below. Is this a ductless setup? Assuming it is you can choose from the following: -Furrion Chill Cube RV Air Conditioner w Air Distribution Box - Ductless - 18,000 Btu - Black # FR27TD -Furrion Chill Cube RV Air Conditioner w Air Distribution...

  • Availability of Heat Strip or Heat Pump for Furrion Chill Cube RV AC
Hey Jon; I was actually just talking to Furrion about heat options for the Chill Cube yesterday (1/21/2025). At this time, the only way to have heat with this unit is through a furnace on a ducted setup. The Furrion Chill Cube RV AC w/ Air Distribution Box, Thermostat # FR49TD (black) and # FR69TD (white) come with a wall mounted thermostat capable of running a furnace. **Edit** (1/27/2026) The Furrion Chill Cube with the heat pump is now available. • Parts Needed to Upgrade to Furrion Chill Cube from Dual Coleman Mach AC Units on Trailer
Hey Clyde! The Furrion Chill Cube will be a really nice upgrade so I highly recommend going that route for replacement. This unit is super quiet and incredibly efficient with a lot of cooling power. This will be a complete replacement since everything has switched over to the new R32 refrigerant. The correct system depends on whether you have a ducted or ductless setup and if you do or do not have a furnace. You can choose from the following: -Furrion Chill Cube RV Air Conditioner w Air...

  • Do I Need the Air Distribution Box with the Furrion Chill Cube
Hello David. You will definitely want to go with the Furrion Chill Cube RV Air Conditioner w Air Distribution Box - Ductless - 18,000 Btu - White # FR59TD. My favorite feature about the new Furrion Chill Cube is the remote that comes with the air distribution box. Not only is it a remote but it also works as the thermastat. It has this really neat follow me feature. With this feature you can put the remote anywhere in your camper and it will make sure that spot is at your desired temperature....

  • Will Furrion Chill Cube Replace Standard Furrion Chill RV AC Unit
Hey Martin, yes the Furrion Chill Cube AC Unit part # FR59TD that you referenced is a direct replacement for the standard Chill unit you have on your Brinkley. • Can I Replace Dometic 15K BTU AC Unit With Furrion Chill Cube AC?
Hello Josh, thanks for reaching out. You can replace your 15K BTU Dometic AC unit with a Furrion Chill Cube, but it will mean replacing the rooftop unit, distribution box and thermostat. There is no adapter harness for this. That said, you should not need to change out any of the existing wiring or circuit breakers. The Chill Cube 18K unit draws similar current to other 15–18K units, so you do not have to up-size the wire or breaker if your existing setup is correct and in good condition....

  • What is the Difference Between the Furrion Chill 2024039637 and 2023010866?
Hello Marvin, Great question! The difference is that the FACR18VSSA-PS-AM 2024039637 # LC54DX is the for aftermarket/retail customers and FACR18VSSA-PS (2023010866), is the OEM version. OEM's order part number 2023010866. If you are looking to upgrade to the Furrion Chill 18,000 BTU, you won’t be disappointed. It’s quieter than other systems and more efficient, a win-win in my book! • Availability of 15,000 Btu AC Replacement for Coleman Mach
Hi Brad; the Furrion Chill HE # FR32PV worked as a replacement before but we can no longer guarantee compatibility. We found that the majority of the time the plug would line up but the system wouldn't work. Even if it did work, you run the risk of burning up your air distribution box (ADB) and will need a replacement. A complete replacement would then be necessary since the Furrion R410A ADB has been discontinued with everything moving to R32 refrigerant. The same is true for other brands...

  • What is Best RV AC Unit for Lance Camper with Ductless Roof

What that means for you is that even though the vent may blow in a direction you don't prefer it will still cool down the RV faster than any other options. This also has a turbo mode that was designed for cooling down a hot RV as quick as possible so it would work really well for you. So...

  • Can Furrion Chill Cube RV AC Unit Replace Coleman and Still Allow Furnace to Work
Hey Eric, the Furrion Chill Cube part # FR59TD will do a great job replacing your Coleman but it needs to use all of it's components to install and none of your Colemans which it sounds like you already are aware of. Hey Mike! Since the ceiling controls on the # CM43RR would be too high to reach you can use the Coleman-Mach Signature Mach 15 RV Air Conditioner System # CM32RR with the wall thermostat. This is the ducted version, but the AC itself is the same with the ADB and thermostat being the difference. You can simply leave the louvers open so it dumps air directly into the room. • Can I add a RV A/C like FR59TD to my enclosed trailer?
Great question Alan, I can explain! The main reason we don’t recommend installing an RV A/C on an enclosed trailer is that most trailers aren’t built for it from the factory. RV roofs are reinforced to support the weight and mounting pressure of an A/C unit, while enclosed trailers often aren’t, which can lead to flexing or sealing issues. They’re also usually not insulated or designed to hold and circulate cooled air properly, so the A/C may struggle to perform and run constantly. ...

As of this year, RV refrigerants have transitioned from R410a to R32. R410a parts are becoming increasingly difficult to find, and once they're sold out, they won’t be restocked. Additionally, the older R410a components are not compatible...
