Question:
I have a 2022 Colorado and I was looking at your Curt and etrailer hitches for it but I can't tell the difference. Which one should I go with?

I would be happy to clarify that for you and make a recommendation. Both the Curt item # C13176 and etrailer item # e98909 trailer hitches are identical except for the finish on them. Both hitches are confirmed to fit your 2022 Chevy Colorado.
I recommend the etrailer Trailer Hitch item # e98909. This hitch is custom fit and bolts to your Colorado with included hardware. It has a matte black rust proof finish that does a great job of blending in beneath your truck and it will save you some money. It is a class III hitch with a 2" receiver that has a 8,000 lbs towing capacity.
We did an installation video on a 2022 Colorado we had in the shop earlier this year. I have linked it below along with the instructions. The hitch being installed is the Curt item # C13176 but the process is the same for the etrailer item # e98909.
For towing a trailer you will also need a 4-way or 7-way wiring harness, a brake controller if your trailer has brakes, and a ball mount kit. I have listed these parts below along with installation videos.
4-Way and 7-Way all in one wiring harness - item # HM40975-11998 for Colorado's with out the towing package
Brake Controller - Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty Brake Controller item # RED24FR and wiring harness item # RED69FR
Ball Mount Kit - Curt Towing Starter Kit for 2" Hitches item # C45534
