Hi I have a 21 canyon and doesnt have a hitch or any wiring for one right now. Which hitch and wiring combo would yoi guys recommend? Ill rarely bit when I do it wont be over 7000lbs since that is the max tow

The best hitch for your 2021 GMC Canyon is going to be the etrailer Hitch item # e98909. This hitch is custom fit and bolts to your Canyon with included hardware. This is a class III hitch with a 2" receiver. It will definitely get the 7,000 lbs towing capacity out of your truck as it is rated for 8,000 lbs.
For a wiring harness, I recommend the Hopkins Multi-Tow 7-Way Blade and 4-Way Flat Trailer Connector item # HM11141144. This harness has both a 4-way and 7-way connector.
