Question:

Need a hitch for my 2020 GMC Canyon to use my 2 inch bike rack and sometimes a small 5x8 utility trailer. What do you recommend?

For a trailer hitch, I recommend the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receivever # e98909 because it installs beneath the rear bumper for a nice, clean look and it's going to give you the standard 2 inch receiver you need to use your bike rack.

If you're planning on towing a small utility trailer and your Canyon didn't come with a factory 7-Way, you'll also need to install a trailer wiring harness. For a plug and play 4-pole flat, I recommend # HM11141164. Otherwise, you can hardwire # HM40975-11998, which would give you a 7 and 4-Pole connector.
