Replacement Landing Gear For 2007 Fleetwood Redline 335 Fifth wheel
Published 02/11/2020 >
Question:
Hi I have a 2007 Fleetwood Redline 335 Fifth wheel toyhauler and I am having trouble with my landing gear. When I go to extend it the motor sounds bogged down and goes slow. Additionally after it is on the motor will just cut out and I will have to wait before it will operate again. The time period that the motor will run is different every time as well as how long it takes before the motor will run again after cutting out. My guess is the motor is old, weak and is getting hot and shuts off but I wanted to know what you think. Also I can’t find any identification as to what motor it is. It looks like it’s a single motor with the axle to drive the gear on the opposite side. Can you please share your thoughts on I what you think it is and if you know what landing gear motor I would need to replace it? Thank you in advance.

Since trailer manufacturers do not make information readily available regarding the landing gear on the trailers I cannot say for sure which landing gear you have on the Fleetwood to replace the motor. It may be a good idea to contact Fleetwood with the VIN to see which landing gear may be on the trailer. If you can find a sticker or any information about the manufacturer of the landing gear I can help with a replacement motor because it does sound like the motor is going bad.
Otherwise I recommend to replace the landing gear with Lippert Electric Landing Gear Set part # LC333964 as long as the distance between your mounting brackets is 17-1/2" which is very common. I have attached a diagram for your reference.
