Wondering if the curt 16027 puck system adapter for a 2023 chevy 2500hd and a bandw rvk3270 patriot 18k slider 5th wheel hitch are compatible?

Hey Ronnie,

The crossbeam of the slider base on the B&W Patriot 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ Slider # BWRVK3270 unfortunately sits too low and fights for the same space as the handles/side mounting plates of the Curt Rail Adapter # C88KR (16027) so they would not be compatible together. The Patriot slider unfortunately isn't compatible with any puck-to-rail adapter on the market currently.

You would need to switch to the Companion OEM # BWRVK3775 which would have the correct mounting points to mate with the puck system instead of having to use an adapter. There unfortunately isn't a way to minimize the cost here as a new hitch is the only way to make this work with your puck system. You could most likely sell you Patriot to recoup some of the money at least.

Thanks for the reply I am looking at buying a used Curt unit , R16 slider and E16 hitch , with this be capable with the 16027 puck system adapter

@RonnieS Yes, the Curt E16 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ R16 Roller # 16516 would drop right into the rails of the Curt Adapter Rails # C88KR (16027).
