Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at this Lippert HD 6,500 pound Tuson 5th wheel RV landing gear motor. Now, the Lippert Power Landing Gear is what is standard on most of your 5th wheel RVs that are produced today. And this part here is the replacement motor for a damaged motor that's on that landing gear. This is a heavy-duty, 6,500 pound rated Tuson landing gear motor.
This will get you back to camping and enjoying the great features of the Power Landing Gear on your RV. This motor is very easy to install. Requires no assembly. It'll come just like this, ready to go. It includes the motor itself, the two mounting bolts that you just drop on this corner and this corner and then you just screw them into place.
And again, as we mentioned, this is for use on the Lippert Power Landing Gear assemblies. But that should do it for the review on the Lippert HD 6,500 pound Tuson 5th wheel RV landing gear motor..
Relatively easy to install. Did the gearbox at the same time. I think it wise to replace both. Would have liked it to be a little faster. My pin weight is 3k lbs.
Motor works great on my 2021 Wolfpack 36516. Only issue was my landing gear ran opposite direction from the switch after upgrading to this motor. A quick rewire of the switch and my toyhauler is back to being functional.

Great product, although the motor didn’t seem to match up with the landing gear bracket correctly. It still works with a slight wobble. I feel that it should line up better.
Easy install. Replaced the weaker motor that was installed at factory and made raising the trailer much easier.

Very pleased with the excellent service and the HD 6500 LB Landing Gear Motor but was disappointed when I saw that it was made in China!
We are on the road in Alaska and our landing gear went out. E-trailer had the part we needed and got it to us within a week. The part was not available locally and was quoted a month to get. We had to have the part sent general delivery as we have no physical address and a representative called to confirm where to send. Overall a great company to do business with.

Just installed it it works without making banging noise like the other one so far only issue is now the switch works backwards
