Side Marker Lights Required for Trailer Wider Than 80 Inches and Longer Than 30 Feet

Question:
I read your answer on trailer more than 80 inches wide...got the tail lights. Excellent answer quoting D.O.T. specs.....new question. How many side markers on the side of trailer need for D.O.T. certification when the trailer is 37 feet long?

If your trailer is more than 80" wide and 37' long then you need 2 rear side marker lights, 2 rear side reflectors, 2 front side marker lights, 2 front side reflectors, 2 intermediate side marker lights and reflectors, as well as 2 front and 2 rear clearance lights.
