The 2017 Mitsubishi Fuso Canter FE130 is not a vehicle that we have had much experience in dealing with unfortunately so I don't have any information as to whether or not it came pre-wired with a trailer brake controller but the dealer might. The most common place you will find the brake controller wiring is under the driver dash up by the OBDII or parking brake. The wiring usually consists of four or five wires.
If you cannot find the brake controller wiring or there is none present then this is not a big deal as we have all the wiring that you will need to install a brake controller and 7-way anyhow. For this, we will first need to start with a 4-way trailer connector. I recommend using the Vehicle Wiring Harness Kit part # C59236. Once you have this installed you can then convert it into a 7-way with the Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller part # ETBC7. The distance between the rear bumper and cab of your vehicle is longer than either kit is designed for so you will need extra wire for each kit, part # 10-1-1 (per foot) for the 4-way and part # 10-2-1 (per foot) for the 7-way.
For a brake controller, I recommend the Tekonsha Prodigy P2 Trailer Brake Controller part # 90885 because it is an extremely popular option that works well for many people. It has integrated safeguards, storable settings, and a lifetime warranty so it will be the last brake controller you ever buy. I know in the past there was an issue with the stop light switch circuit on the FE130 only carrying 6 volts so if that is the case you will need to use a stop light switch kit part # RM-751000 but make sure to check the circuit before purchasing the switch.
