  • Replacement Axle Options For A Trailex SUT 200 Boat Trailer
That is a very unique trailer you have, Gordon. Maybe a little too unique. We have spindles that you could use as replacements (1-3/8" Diameter Stub # TRU59FR, 1-1/4" Diameter Stub # TRU94FR, or 1-1/2" Wide (square) Stub # TRU97FR) that all have a 1" shaft for the bearings (which would be part # L44643). That axle is going to be too short for us to have anything that would work, unfortunately. What I would probably do would be grab two of these spindles and some tubing that will slide...

  • Compatible Hub for TRU44FR BTR Spindle
The # TRU44FR spindle you'd looked at is compatible with an L44649 inner and outer bearing, like what's used by the # CE13109. The hub includes the inner and outer bearing and race, the grease seal, the dust cap and the lug nuts. The hub has a 4 on 4 bolt pattern. For a 5 on 4-1/2 inch bolt pattern, use # AKIHUB-545-2-LFEZ-2K.

  • Replacement Trailer Axle Spindle that is 1 inch Diameter and Uses Bearings l44643
Hey Douglas, thanks for all of the info you listed on your spindle. Based on that the correct replacement would be the BT8 part # TRU59FR. Did you damage your old spindle?

  • Recommended Hub W/ Integrated Drums for a BT8 Spindle
Charles, it looks like none of our hubs with integrated rotors are going to work with your BT8 Spindle # TRU59FR. We do have the DeeMaxx 10" Hub/Rotor Assembly # DE49VR which will work with 3.5K axles and has a 5 on 4 1/2" bolt pattern, but nothing for your BT8 spindle. We do also have hubs with integrated drums like the Easy Grease Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly for 2K Axles # AKHD-545-2-EZ-1K which will work with your BT8 spindle.

  • Are the TruRyde Spindle # TRU59FR and etrailer Idler Hub Assembly # AKIHUB-545-2-2K Compatible
The TruRyde Spindle # TRU94FR and our Trailer Idler Hub Assembly # AKIHUB-545-2-2K are not compatible, but you could use the TruRyde EZ Lube Spindle # TRU44FR instead as it has the correct spindle measurements. For a hub that will work with the TruRyde Spindle # TRU94FR you can use part # AKIHUB-545-2-1K. To determine if a hub is compatible with a specific spindle you will need to make sure that the inner diameters of the Inner Bearing, Outer Bearing, and Grease Seal of the hub matches...

  • Spindle Compatible With Trailer Idler Hub Assembly AKIHUB-440-2-1K
The Trailer Idler Hub Assembly for 2,000-lb Axles - 4 on 4 - L44643 Bearings - Pre-Greased # AKIHUB-440-2-1K won't fit your trailer spindle as it will be too long. The reason is, this hub is designed to work on BT8 spindles, which are longer than what you have. The only solution we can offer is to replace your short and older spindles with a new one that will work with the Trailer Idler Hub Assembly # AKIHUB-440-2-1K, which is the BT8 Spindle for 2,000 lb Trailer Axles # TRU59FR. • How to Determine the Correct Replacement Spindle With Bearing 07100
Bearing 07100 are older bearings with the same dimensions as bearing # L44643. The spindles that uses those inner and outer bearings are # TRU94FR and # TRU59FR. The difference between these is one measurement, the furthest outer diameter, which is 1.25" on TRU94FR and 1.38" on TRU59FR.

  • Is The TRU59FR Spindle An EZ-Lube Spindle?
Hey Cassandra, The TRU59FR spindle is not an EZ-Lube spindle. It is a weld on spindle that does not have a built in grease fitting in order to grease the hubs, you would have to do that the standard way by removing the hub. I do not see a spindle that we carry that is a EZ-Lube spindle. What kind of trailer are you looking to replace this on?

  • What Replacement Spindle Do I Need for a Dexter 69-46 Spindle?
As far as removing your current spindle, you will need to grind/drill off the old one. One the old spindle is removed, I recommend the BT8 Spindle for 2,000-lb Trailer Axles # TRU59FR (for a 1-3/8 diameter) or the # TRU94FR (for 1-1/4 diameter). The measurement of the diameter is the stub (innermost tube on the spindle). In order to get the correct size, I recommend measuring the stub of your old spindle once it is removed. I went ahead and attached videos of both of these spindles in order...

  • How to Determine The Correct Replacement Trailer Hubs by Bearing Numbers or Spindle Size
The best way to determine which replacement hubs you need for your trailer would be to remove one of the hubs and retrieve the bearings. Find the numbers stamped into the bearings and with those we will be able to get you the correct hubs. If you are unable to retrieve the bearing numbers, you can take measurements of the spindle. I have included a link to our spindle main page. At the top of the page is a diagram showing all of the measurements we would need to find the correct hubs...

Your current axle on your 4' X 6' Carry on Trailer will likely have either a BT8 Spindle # TRU59FR or BTR Spindle # TRU44FR. You can determine the spindle by removing your current hub and inspecting the bearings or by measuring the spindle itself. I have included a image that shows the locations of the bearing numbers and grease seals on your current hub as well as the measurement points for spindle as well. • Depth Measurement For Hubs That Fit A 1" Straight Spindle
We do have hubs available for a 1" straight spindle in part # AKIHUB-440-2-EZ-1K. This hub measures 4-1/4" deep so it will run a bit longer than the hub you are looking for. There are a total of 4 hubs that we carry for a 1" straight spindle and all 4 would be identical as far as depth. A lot of these older boat trailers use hubs that are trailer specific, and it may prove very difficult to find. • Replacement Hub For A 1949 Or 1950 TeeNee Boat Trailer With Short Spindles
I have a solution for you, but as the short spindles have not been produced for some time now, there will not be a hub that will fit them properly, unfortunately. You will need to replace the spindles with the BT8 Spindle for 2,000-lb Trailer Axles # TRU59FR. If you are or know a good welder, this can be done pretty easily, but you need to make sure the cross tube connecting the two spindles has an inner diameter of 1-3/8" (typically a 1-3/4" outer diameter). Yes, that spindle does look too beat up to be usable. I attached a link to this page that has all of the spindles we carry. You would need to pick out the one that matches the axle capacity on your trailer. It looks like maybe a 2,200 or 2,000 lb axle possibly like the # TRU59FR.

  • Should a Spindle That is Chipping be Replaced
Anytime that a spindle is starting to take damage you will want to replace it as that will affect the performance of your bearings and seal. In this case since that chipping is right where the seal sits (as you mentioned) that will eat at the rubber seal which will likely cause it to fail. A failed seal will leak grease and cause further damage to your spindle/hub area. From the picture you sent in it looks like you have a round BT8 spindle. For replacements we have parts # TRU94FR, #...
