The grease cap on this hub is specially designed to work with your Dexter E-Z Lube axle or etrailer Easy Grease to make lubricating bearings quick and easy. Just remove the plug on the grease cap, attach a grease gun to the zerk fitting on the end of the spindle, and inject the grease. It will flow easily to both inner and outer bearings. Not only does this make lubricating the bearings easy, but it also helps to prevent corrosion of the hub. This is because you can lubricate the bearings without the mess of taking apart the entire assembly.
The first number in the bolt pattern is the number of bolt holes. The second number denotes the diameter, in inches, of the circle on which the bolt holes sit.
On wheels with an even number of bolt holes, measure from the center of one bolt hole to the center of the hole directly across from it. (Example: 8 on 6-1/2 means 8 bolt holes with 6-1/2" from the center of one hole to the center of another on the opposite side.)
To determine the bolt-circle diameter on wheels with an odd number of bolt holes, measure from the center of any bolt hole to the point halfway between the two bolt holes directly across from the first. (Example: 5 on 4-1/2 means 5 bolt holes with 4-1/2" measured to a point halfway between the opposite bolt holes.)
Measuring the distance (D) from the center of one bolt hole on the wheel to the center of a bolt hole right next to it can also help to determine the bolt pattern.

I tow my fishing boat around northern Manitoba Canada and was always worried about having a wheel bearing go on the trailer. Now i have this ready to go hub assembly so i can just swap it out if I have to. Excellent!
The axle hub just what I needed at a good price. The box showed up when it was supposed to but had a big hole in the side(that’s what happens when you put a heavy metal object in a cardboard box…..) and the dust cap was missing. I called and talked to a human who spoke English and he resent the dust cap no questions asked. I will shop here again but it would be nice if packing was better everything showed up together.
Very robust hubs, easy to install with pre-greased bearings.

Hopefully I won't need this on my way home to Florida. But I am now prepared if there is a wheel bearing problem with my trailer.
Finished one side, gotta get a cotter pin for this side. Kinda wish they came with cotter pins. Good product, I’ve used these hubs before on a different trailer and so far so good. Convenient that it’s greased already and assembled. Makes installation a breeze. Easy 5 minute job. Thanks etrailer!

I was upgrading my 2000 pound axle to a 3500 pound axle so we could haul a full cord of wood safely in my 6*10 trailer! I bought new everything and had it installed in about 3 hours.
My order was placed on March 26th, shipped on the 27th, today is April 8th and still no delivery. Customer service said after 14 business days, they would reship my order and use UPS instead of the postal service. Terrible customer service in my opinion!! I will NOT order from them again!!
Just like the video, more cost effective buy the entire kit. Worked perfect for my 35 year old utility trailer (3500lb Hayes axel)

Hubs working as expected. I bought these as a replace for a 30 year old trailer. The i loaded up trailer and pulled from SoCal to Cincinnati.
I use these on my boat trailer. I repack with marine grease. The quality is good. I've experienced no problems with these hubs.
Etrailer had just what I needed at a fair price and delivery was super fast. Excellent service!
BrittanyK assisted me when I ordered and was very helpful. I was able to supply enough information to narrow down the hub choices sufficiently to make an educated guess as to the fit, and the guess was correct! The kit was prelubed and preassembled. If I can do this, anyone can.

I needed a new hub assembly for my boat trailer, but had no idea which one to get. I called E-trailer's customer support and the agent told me what to measure etc. I called them back with the requested info and they told me which assembly I needed, to include the two different sized bearings. The hub assembly fit perfectly. I was very pleased. It is of great quality and came with bearings, racers, lug nuts, grease seal and hub cover for zerk fittings. I was astonished with the low price for the entire kit. Their customer service is great, shipping is fast, and the products are top notch quality. I will use E-trailer for all my future trailer needs. They stand by their products.

Still a five star product. I travel from Columbus GA to Ft Walton Beach Fla several times a month 400 mile round trip The hub trails perfectly with no dogleg. The grease seal has not leaked at all and keeps the salt water out. I could not be more happy with this purchase.
Very easy to do business with these folks! I really appreciated the great service.

replaced the enter hub assembly, bearings, seal, and even grease zerk. lost everything when wheel came off my boat trailer. almost everything came in the hub kit for a complete rebuild except the zerk and grease, which i did also order from etrailer.com. the replacement went perfectly. all the parts were as good if not better quality than the original on the trailer. glad i did both sides cause if one goes, the other is not far behind. there videos are also very helpful.

after a year, trailer is working great. change grease occassionally to keep bearings with fresh grease.
Next time I’m buying OEM. The bearings aren’t really ps packed with grease, the hub is just stuffed with grease. You can’t get to the back bearings to inspect or grease, so these hubs will only be good for a few years. The kit didn’t come with the easy lube, spindle nut, washers, or locking clip. I had to reuse my old hardware. This is the price difference between this item and the dexter one I should have bought.
This is a good product for the price, but you’ll get what you pay for.

so far, so good. just checked the bearings yesterday
Last project built. Used etrailer for almost all parts, 7 pin wiring harnesses, junction block, tail lights, jacks vent cover and so. Love the leveling jacks. Friend wants one now so started another one. I will be getting all the parts from etrailer...

After being in storage, in a field, for more than 2 years, Water had contaminated the original hub, pitting the bearings and races and they had not been serviced since, at least 1999. I polished up the EZ lube spindles, flushed out the old grease and I was ready. Everything fit perfectly. It was aa perfect match. Used new Nuts and Washers. re-installed the Wheels and Tires, Torqued to 90-10lb. The old 6 x 4 Wells Cargo trailer is once again Ready for the coming rendezvous season.
