With spindles only, you can reuse hubs and brakes that fit your spindle's bearing and seal sizes, keeping your setup consistent. For a smooth fit, confirm your hub and bearing sizes match the spindles and verify your hub face measurement alongside the spring center spacing.
A camber bend may be present to compensate for load and put proper camber on the tires. After installation, monitor tire wear to confirm it's tracking well. If you notice uneven wear, recheck measurements and alignment of the spring seats and suspension components before logging more miles.
Some Spindles Only options include a grease zerk EZ Lube setup, and compatible hubs fit smoothly on those spindles. If you plan to use a bearing buddy, remove the zerk before filling to avoid conflicts. Verify that your hub, bearings, and seal match the spindle's dimensions so lubrication flows correctly and seals stay intact.
Measure the spring seats center-to-center on your trailer and match them to 74 Inch Spring Center. Also confirm your hub face width so the wheels sit where you need them. If your spring seat spacing is close but not exact, seats can be cut off and rewelded to line up, then secured with a new U-bolt kit. After install, keep an eye on tire wear to confirm alignment.
Match your hub's inner and outer bearing numbers to the Spindles Only specs, and confirm the grease seal inner diameter fits the spindle's seal surface. Test-fit if you're unsure. Also verify your brake drum lug bolt spacing matches your wheels; a mismatch by about 1/4" can occur. If spacing doesn't match, reuse drums that fit your wheels and the new brake assemblies.
