Keeping bearings greased doesn’t have to mean tearing everything apart. The E-Z Lube spindles have built-in grease zerks, so you can push fresh grease through the hub, flush out the old, and hit the road again fast. They’re designed to work with E-Z Lube hubs (sold separately) for quick, clean maintenance that keeps everything rolling smooth.
The spring seats, brake flanges, and spindles come welded in place, ready for bolt-on components. The underslung design mounts leaf springs under the axle to keep the trailer lower to the ground, making loading and unloading easier. Everything is aligned and set up for reliable suspension geometry right out of the box.
When it’s time to replace a worn factory axle, this one fits cleanly with hub-face-to-hub-face at 89" and spring-center-to-spring-center at 74". It’s compatible with inner bearing 25580 and outer bearing 15123 (sold separately), and the 5-bolt brake flange works with standard 12" hub and drum assemblies. That means you can match up your suspension parts confidently and get back on the road knowing your setup is solid.
Because the leaf springs mount below the axle, the trailer naturally rides lower. That lower deck height makes ramp angles gentler and gear easier to move. The design also keeps the load stable, so you can tow with confidence whether you’re hauling equipment or heading out for a long trip.

I had to order a set of spring seats and weld them to the opposite sides. The original seats were at 68.5 " centers and that configuration was unavailable anywhere.
Very good product at a fair price. It is packaged and shipped very carefully and I appreciate that they pre-wire the brake wire cross-over.
The USPS shipping was extremely frustrating (slow and untraceable) but that's not on etrailer.

It fit fine to replace a Hayes axle of early 2000s vintage that was bent. The spindle washer and nut configuration of this is much better than the old Hayes axle.

I did not run into any problems installing this 3500 pound trailer axle. All the welds look good and the measurements were spot on. I love the bend in the axle to compensate for the weight of the load and to put the proper camber on the tires. I will keep a close eye on the wear of the tires. But so far everything looks good. You guys also are super fast at getting the product here. I really appreciate that, along with the free shipping. Simply fantastic I have used etrailer twice and have been 100 percent satisfying keep up the good work.

I ordered axle and a pk54871pl circuit breaker 5 tru46fr axle caps. The circuit breaker was taped to axle. it was broken into a million pieces. never got the 5 tru46fr caps.

This axle and spindle assembly are high quality. Identical to the Dexter axle and spindle ass. that were on the trailer originally. A Big Tex S35 6' x 10' trailer that is 30+ years old.

Trying to update my trailers 5100 lb. Lippert axles with Dexter 6000 lb. axles. Dexter’s are very well made wished I didn’t have to send them back thus why the 4 stars. Dexters 74 inch center to center are not a direct replacement for Lippert. It’s very hard to get the hub face measurements by yourself so I assumed it would work unfortunately Lipperts are few inches wider. Customer service was great about letting me ship these items back. Great folks to deal with!
