If upgrading from a single to multiple steps, double-check ground clearance so nothing hangs too low.
Yes, pull-out steps can replace solid steps. Verify your frame brackets match the step's mounting width or plan on using spacers. If your existing brackets don't line up, install outriggers to create the correct bolt pattern. Also check the overall box and any external bolt heads for clearance around your entry.
Installation is generally straightforward. Many units bolt in place of existing steps and may include spacers to fine-tune the fit.
