Updated 05/30/2026 | Published 05/25/2026

Question:

Hello, I have a keystone Passport Ultra light, from the foot plate to the ground I measured 25ish inches, then the inside of the 1/2 inch flanges on the inside door frame is 24 inches. I think i am looking for etrailer part number LC713662 does that sound correct? then I dont see how to find the that one from this site? I see the other numbers, but I cant change the part numbers to match the one I need.

Hey John! You weren't finding that SolidStep because Lippert discontinued it in 2024 and that table wasn't updated to reflect this. What I recommend instead is the MORryde StepAbove RV Steps # MR26RR. These are designed to fit 23-3/4" to 26-1/4" wide doorways, and work with a 25" to 29" entry height so they will fit your 2018 Keystone Passport Ultra Light.

Are you replacing worn out steps or switching to a different style?

I am replacing the original steps, for a few reasons. Looking for more stability in a step. Then they look alot better as well.

@JohnP the MORryde StepAbove # MR26RR is a good alternative. They're on a lot of models out there. I have them on my trailer and like them as well.

@JohnP I installed the Morryde Step Above RV Steps last autumn in my RV to replace the original Lippert Solid Step LC713662. I had no trouble with the installation of the Morryde steps; they fit perfectly. My original steps had become damaged. The only hassle with the install was the fit and finish in the RV afterwards; this had nothing to do with the steps themselves but rather getting the trim piece that was on the floor with the old steps to fit against the new ones. But it was no big deal and I did the whole install in less than an hour. I think the steps are better than the Lippert steps and they are way easier to extend the legs to fit perfectly with the ground. I honestly wish these had been on my RV from the start.

I actually replaced my Lippert Solid Steps with the Moryde steps because I absolutely hated how the Lippert legs adjusted. You always had to pull pins that were a pain to line back up in each adjustment hole. The Moryde has a button to push and that's it. Way more easier to deal with and they are just as solid as the Lippert. Go with Moryde is you want good steps.
