Is Vertical Stud Adapter Bracket Required for GlowStep Revolution Installation On 2022 Momentum 21G

Question:

I am going to be doing an install of Torklift GlowStep part number A8003 into a customers 2022 Grand Design Momentum 21G. Will I need TorkLift GlowStep Revolution Vertical Stud Adapter Bracket TLA8022 to complete the installation? Thank You 10Yes RV Solutions

Hey Greg, you only need the # TLA8022 adapter bracket if the trailer does not have factory step mounting brackets under the doorway. If their 2022 Grand Design Momentum 21G still has the original pull-out steps (and the mounting outriggers are intact), the GlowStep Revolution # TLA8003 will bolt directly to those brackets, no adapter needed.

Since we can’t verify that from here, you’ll want to check the trailer. If those brackets are missing or have been removed, then you’ll need the # TLA8022 to create a mounting point.
