Recommended 7-Way and 4-Way Connector for a 2024 GMC Sierra 3500 that Can Be Used At the Same Time

I have a truck camper that I plug into my rear 7-way plug on the back of my 2024 GMC Sierra 3500 HD but also want to tow a boat trailer that is a 4-way flat. I cannot use both at once because the covers on the connectors cannot be open at the same time. The part C55774 that was suggested on a previous question apparently doesnt fit on my truck. Any suggestions?

Hey Scott. To add a 7-way and 4-way connector to your 2024 GMC Sierra 3500 that can be used at the same time, I recommend the TowSmart ProClass Trailer Connector item # TS49RR. It's going to replace the factory one and mount in the same position on your bumper. It is going to plug directly into what's called a USCAR connector. This is the standard wiring connector available on American cars with factory tow wiring.

The covers open the opposite direction on the TowSmart ProClass Trailer Connector item # TS49RR, allowing you to connect both a 7-way and a 4-way wiring harness. Please note that you will still be limited amperage wise by the towing circuit you connect the ProClass Trailer Connector item # TS49RR to. Running lights for both your trailer and camper won't overload the circuit but if you're power a fridge or something that has a decent amp draw you'll overload the circuit.

Are you powering anything other than the lights on your camper when you're traveling?
