Can 2-Step Lippert Steps Replace a Single Step on a 2017 Winnie 170S
Updated 05/21/2020 | Published 04/25/2018 >
Question:
Hello. I would like to replace our Lippert single step with a two step option. 7” rise. Which steps do you recommend? I notice that the 2 step Lippert will ride 2” lower when closed and I feel we have enough vertical clearance. Will the additional depth when closed be funky? Pic attached. Thanks for your time.

You will need to go by the dimensions of steps # LC432682 to determine if they will fit your 2017 Winnie 170S. I have included some pictures showing various measurements to help you. The depth when folded up is going to be 13 inches. By the looks of your current set up there is enough space for these steps.

My new 2 step Lippert Kwikee electric steps were damaged ( don’t know how) on my new Jayco Alante 29s. I would like to replace with a manual 2 step version. The Fixed bolt pattern (as measured on 4 bolts hanging down from the RVs underside for my original steps are 22”x 8”. some recommendations I read say to add outriggers to both sides but don’t show bolt hole patterns by doing so. Most drawings show overall dimensions NOT bolt hole patterns. Can someone show the outriggers attached to the 2 step stairs with drawing dimensions. so that I can confidently order the manual 2 step model and the 2 outriggers?”
