MORryde StepAbove RV Steps for 2017 Coachmen Mirada

Updated 07/20/2026 | Published 07/06/2026

Question:

Looking to maybe swap out steps on my 2017 Coachmen Mirada. Looking at the Moryde step above steps. Can you tell me which ones would be a good fit? The replacement motor for the electric steps is crazy expensive!

Hey Randy! The cost of those replacement parts can definitely get out of hand. The right MORryde StepAbove RV Steps will depend on the measurements on your motorhome. You will need to measure your doorway width (from inside flange to inside flange) and entry height (from ground to threshold).

For example, the # MR98RR is designed for 23-3/4" - 26-1/4" wide doorways and an entry height measuring 30" - 33-1/2". Strut assist models like # MR45RR are also available. This fits a 23-3/4" - 24-1/4" wide doorway and an entry height measuring 31-1/2" - 37-1/2". I went ahead and attached a chart below which has part numbers based on measurements for your reference.

Any big trips coming up with your motorhome?

Heres what I have. The thresh hold to ground height is 26-28. The 1st inside step well is 10 deep and 11 tall and the doorway is 23 wide.

@RandyF then you want to go with the # MR26RR. If the narrowest point is truly 23" you may need to notch that out for the latch bracket to fit properly but you don't want to size down.
