If you want to cut down on movement, consider an anti-rattle bracket or a bolt-in setup instead of a standard hitch pin.
Use an anti-rattle or security bolt to tighten the step in the receiver and reduce movement. If your setup uses a bracket with an M12 anti-rattle bolt, avoid over-tightening—just a bit past finger tight helps prevent bending. Mount the shank as deep as you can in the receiver and step near the center to minimize flex.
