Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at this Romik RAL-TB Black Hitch Step. Now, this style is going to match your Romik RAL-TB running boards, and this hitch step is going to slide into your two-inch hitch receiver, and it's gonna make it easy to get into your truck bed and access your cargo area. So, this is gonna be a very easy installation and it does include an anti-rattle bracket and also the hitch pin and clip, and that's gonna help reduce movement vibration. So, those items are included with this, which is a nice addition. So easy setup.
I did wanna point out that this hitch step may interfere with parking sensors, just so you're aware of that. Now, taking an overhead look here, this step is constructed of black anodized aluminum with plastic end caps here, and the textured surface is going to give you sure footing. Now, these smooth end caps are going to eliminate sharp corners, but I do wanna point out that the end caps are for decorative purposes only. So, these corners, these end caps are not actually designed to be stepped on, just so you're aware of that. But we do have these rubberized patterns here on the step that's going to help give you that sure footing and any weather conditions.
This has a weight capacity of 500 pounds. And while we're at this angle, let me retrieve my tape measure here and just go over the overall width. So, it looks like we're sitting right about a little over 36 inches, probably close to 36 1/2 inches. (measuring tape clicking) And if you're wondering about the depth, let me go in for a closeup here. And I'm just gonna move this bracket here real quick.
So the overall depth, we're sitting pretty close to five inches, measuring from where this sticks out the most. So, from that to the end of our shank here, right at about five inches or so. And this is gonna weigh about 10 pounds itself, but again, it does have a weight capacity of 500 pounds. And I think this is gonna wrap up our real quick look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you.
Again, my name is Andy, thank you for joining me.
