My wife wanted something that would help her step into our Travato motorhome via the back door. It's built on a RAM Promaster and entering through the back doors requires a pretty good step up to get in.
When I saw the BumpStep, it looked like it would make getting in easier, so I figured I'd give it a try.
It arrived this morning, took about five minutes to install using the included hardware and it works even better than expected.
The only thing you need to install is a 15/16" socket. The step is super sturdy and makes it so much easier to step in and out of the van through the back doors.
Would highly recommend.
Very easy install but wish there was option available through etrailer for the security bolt.. bolt makes world of difference so there is no rattle.
Looks great and fits as expected.
Love this step. It helps me get onto the roof rack and also provides protection for the rear bumper.

Great step and I was super impressed by the strength it has. I was rear-ended by a big F350 truck and this step went right through the F350's bumper and grill and cracked the engine block, and the step stool looks new hahaha.

Used primarily for protection from minor front end collision. Nothing to report as yet. We also have our truck protected with WeatherTech floor mats.
IT IS WELL BUILT AND LOOKS GOOD. BUT I STILL RETURNED IT BECAUSE IT GOES ON A NEW 2019 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE WHICH CAME EITH A 7000 lb hitch. . I DID NOT BOLT IT ON BUT BECAUSE OF ITS HEIGHT, IT WOULD BE IMPOSSIBLE FOR MY WIFE TO STAND ON IT. ME ALSO, TO HIGH
ALSO QUICKLY LEARNED THAT THERE ARE ZERO HAND HOLDS AT THE REAR OF THE JEEP. ONLY THING IS A WIPER BLADE. NOT A GOOD IDEA TO GRAB THAT.

The one I purchase is to long and restricts my rear camera when self parking is involved. I should have gotten the shorter bump step.
It is all plactic with medal inserts where the holes are that the hitch lock goes through. The bolt they sent was to short. Just a peice of junk for $[XX] bucks. It will not last long.
Fits perfectly since it has multiple mounting holes. Non skid coating seems to work very well, even when wet. It comes with a bolt in case you don't want to use your own pin. I leave mine installed, so I didn't used the supplied bolt, but rather my old locking pin.
I was surprised to find out the receiver insert section was made of plastic, the functionality of and quality of BumpStep is nice but not sure how it would hold up as a bumper protector.
This WeatherTech bump step is a great product for stepping into rear of truck and protect the rear bumper from minor bumps.
With a little filing work, thankfully it’s made of plastic, the BumpStep fit my receiver tube and it’s great, super easy to get in my flatbed, thanks
I bought one last April and it came with an Allen bolt and wrench. This combo makes it difficult to steal it. The one I just received has a standard bolt which is easily removed with an adjustable wrench. I am not happy with this arrangement.

We have not used product as of this time (weather). The original transaction was efficient and straightforward. Information was precisely what I needed, and was delivered before promised date. Product is to assist owner to reach roof, for removing snow &ice, and protecting rear of vehicle.
Great product. Fit perfectly on our Sprinter 3500. Gives a nice step up to rear doors.
This will solve the problem of having no rear bumper on my diesel pusher in case of a rear hit that would take out my radiator.
