Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at this Romik RB2-B Black Hitch Step. Now, this style is going to match your RB2-B running boards, and this hitch is going to slide into your two-inch hitch receiver and it's gonna make it very easy to get into the bed of your truck or access your cargo area. This is gonna be a quick and easy installation. And anti-rattle bracket and a hitch pin and clip are included to help reduce movement and vibration, so it is a nice touch that those items are included with this. So very easy to install.
I do wanna point out that this hitch step might possibly interfere with your parking sensors, just so you're aware of that. This step is constructed of black, anodized aluminium and so this is going to be pretty strong for you. The ends here are plastic end caps, so the textured surface that we have here is going to give you sure footing. And then these end caps here at the end, these smooth end caps are going to eliminate sharp corners. I do wanna point out though that these corners, these end caps here are for decorative purposes only, so they're not designed to be stepped on.
This is designed for all of the stepping to occur right here in the center. This does have a capacity of 500 pounds. And lemme go ahead and retrieve my tape measure here, just give you some measurements here. So looking at the overall width from end to end, we're sitting right at about 36 inches across. And then going in for my closeup view here, let me try to give you the depth.
So I'm gonna be measuring from this edge here, the edge that sticks out the most to the end of our shank. So we're sitting pretty close to right about 5.5 inches, and the step itself weighs about 10 pounds. Well, I think that's gonna wrap up our quick look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy.
Thank you for joining me.
