Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at this Romik RAL-S silver hitch step. Now, the style of this step is going to match your RAL-S running boards from Romik, and this step is just going to slide into your two-inch hitch receiver and it's gonna make it very easy to get into the bed of your truck or access your cargo area. This does have a weight capacity of 500 pounds. And this step is bolted to a steel base.
So let me just flip this over here so you can see that. So you are going to have a very strong base here that this step is going to be bolted to. And this is going to be a quick and easy installation. Again, this is gonna slide into your two-inch hitch receiver. And what I like about this is it does include an anti-rattle bracket, along with a pin, a hitch pin and clip.
So when you insert this into your hitch, and then you have the bracket inside along with the pin and clip, it's all gonna work together so you will not have any vibration or rattling when this is inserted into your trailer hitch receiver. So that is a nice addition that this has. I do wanna point out that this step may interfere with some parking sensors, depending on your vehicle. And the surface of this step is constructed of silver anodized aluminum. And it has these rubber treads here that's really going to give you a secure step, especially in bad weather.
So these rubberized grips are really gonna hold well to the bottom of your shoe or your boot. Now, I do wanna point out that these end caps here are plastic and they're going to eliminate sharp corners, but these end caps are not to be stepped on, they're merely for decorative purposes only. So the portion that you wanna step on here is going to be the center of the step, but you wanna be sure not to step on the corners here of that step. Now, let me go ahead and give you some measurements here, just so you have a good idea of the size. So looking at the overall width, we're sitting right about 35 1/2 inches wide.
And then the overall depth of the step, we're pretty close to 5 1/2 inches. And the step itself weighs about 10 pounds or so. So if you're looking for a hitch step that's going to blend right in with your current RAL-S running boards on your vehicle, this is gonna be just what you need. Well, that's gonna wrap up our quick look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.
