Trailer sway can start suddenly—whether from wind, passing trucks, or an uneven load. The TrackPro takes a proactive approach by using a positive caster angle built right into the hitch head. Just like how a car’s steering wheel self-centers after a turn, this built-in caster helps your trailer track straight behind you. It works hand-in-hand with the trunnion-style spring bars to create a self-centering force that prevents sway before it begins. You’ll notice your trailer stays true to lane without constant steering correction, even on long stretches of open highway.
Getting the hitch head angle right is usually a time-consuming part of setup. The TrackPro saves you from that hassle with a pre-set pitch on the head assembly, so you don’t need to mess with washers or a fine-tune screw. The only adjustment you’ll ever need is setting the head height on the 7-hole shank to level your trailer. Once that’s done, you’re ready to tow. The system fits 2" x 2" hitches rated for weight distribution and includes the shank, head, 2-5/16" ball, spring bars, and all hardware—everything needed for installation.
Even steady setups can get hit by side gusts or turbulence from a passing semi. When that happens, the TrackPro’s steel-on-steel friction between the spring bars and L-brackets steps in to keep things in line. The rigid bracket design holds the trailer steady, while the friction works to pull it back on course if sway starts. It’s the same principle that keeps freight trains stable on steel rails. You might hear some creaking or grinding as it works—that’s just the system doing its job to maintain control.
With a gross towing weight rating of 6,000 lbs and a tongue weight range of 200–600 lbs, this system is a solid match for small to mid-size trailers. The trunnion spring bars distribute tongue weight evenly across all axles, reducing rear sag and keeping your headlamps aimed where they should be. The result is a level, stable ride and balanced braking. The shank offers up to 2" of drop or 8" of rise, so you can fine-tune for nearly any trailer height.
The TrackPro is powder-coated steel for durability and corrosion resistance. Grease zerks built into the trunnions make lubrication simple, helping the moving parts stay smooth over time. The no-drill, clamp-on brackets fit trailer frames up to 6" tall and can be positioned 20" to 25" back from the hitch ball to clear mounted accessories like battery boxes or propane tanks. It’s a heavy-duty hitch that’s quiet, easy to maintain, and ready for years of towing confidence.

I will have our customer service team reach out to you. The manufacturer prefers to have you use the hardware that comes with the system however if you do need to use replacement hardware in a pinch you will want to make sure that it is grade 8 hardware.

Works just as it should as my 20trailer is now stable without sway and my tow vehicle rides level. I have also noticed rotating hardware on the trailer frame, but only to a point where the flat bottom of the torsion bar lies flat against the L bracket whereas it doesnt rotate any further. Ive kept it at this slight angle and it works great. Heavy duty and built tough.
