Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at this Blue Ox TrackPro weight distribution shank for two inch hitches. Now, this two inch shank right here will slide into your two inch hitch receiver. And it provides the attachment points up front here for your Blue Ox TrackPro weight distribution head assembly. You can see it gives you nine adjustment holes for attaching that head assembly to it, and that'll let you level your trailer with the head assembly.

You can use this in either the drop like it is right now, or if you flip it over, you can also use it in the rise positions. Both of those are available to fit your vehicle. The maximum rise it'll get you is 10 1/2 inches. The maximum drop would be 4 1/2 inches. This is a nice powder coated steel to help resist corrosion.

If you notice right here, it includes the gusset for added strength. This part is made in the USA. And it does even include this 5/8 inch diameter pin and clip for securing the shank to the receiver. You have to do a slide that through there. Once you install this into your, first install it into your hitch receiver, line it up with the hitch pin hole, slide your pin through.

And then take your clip, clip it into place, and that'll secure it to the hitch receiver. Few specs on this again, the application is two inch by two inch hitch receivers. Maximum gross trailer weight capacity is 13,000 pounds. Maximum tongue weight capacity is 1,300 pounds. Now, the overall length from the front here to the very back, we take our ruler and measure that and this is a 13 inch ruler.

So, you can see it is right at 13 inches for the overall length. Overall height from very bottom to the very top, it's gonna be right at 12 1/2 inches tall. Now, the vertical adjustment height, which would be measured from the center of this bottom hole to the center of the top hole, so it's gonna give you a vertical adjustment range of 10 inches. And the distance between these adjustment holes center to center is 1 1/4 inches. Now, the maximum drop it'll get you in this position is 4 1/2 inches. If we flip it over, the maximum rise again is 10 1/2 inches. Now, a couple of measurements I wanna give you is from the center hole. So, if we measure from the center of this hitch pin hole to the center of these adjustment holes, that's gonna get you that at nine inches. And from the center of the hitch pin hole to the front of the shank is gonna get you right at 10 inches.
