Extremely easy to install, for the DIY'er can't wait to try it out with towing. Recommend jack up body and jack up tire and remove it. Much easier to install with tire not there

Installed these on the rear suspension of my 5th gen TRD Pro 4Runner. When my camper is hooked up I have slightly over 300 lb on the the trailer hitch. These help to reduce the squat, but there’s still enough squat to cause high beam like headlight glare at oncoming traffic, which is what I wanted to eliminate. It’s an improvement, but not enough to accomplish the mission. I’ll keep a lookout for similar, but taller replacement.

The product you sent me wasn’t large enough to fulfill the requirements of your instructions of having an inch to an inch and a half clearance to the axle. Had to go out and buy spacers and longer bolts to comply.

2021 Lexus GX 460

Very easy to install, however, on my 2021 GX460 in order to torque the bolts, required the removal of the rear tires. Other than the extra effort - very straight forward.

2011 Lexus GX 460

Product came securely packaged and complete and quick. Took about 45 mins to install. I bought this to try to reduce the 3 1/2 inch sag at the hitch of my Lexus GX460. It did that well. I now only sag 2 inches that I feel is acceptable. The trailer has about 484 lbs weight. The ride doesn't seem affected and towing bounce(porpoising) is gone. Thank you etrailer.

2022 Toyota 4Runner

Got these for our 2022 Toyota 4Runner TRD-OFFROAD and Looking forward to towing our 19' EVO travel trailer with these. Without the trailer they seem a bit rough, but I remember it was worse with the stock bump stops! But I'm sure with the trailer weight on the truck and the Timbren taking up the sag they will work perfectly!

2015 Toyota 4Runner

Received the product and installation was very easy. The longest thing to do in the process is taking your tires off. Also make sure you have a vice or c- clamp because to tight the rubber piece to the bracket takes a lot of torque. Have not been able to test it will update my comments later

This is an excellent product that helped level my 4runner while pulling my travel trailer. By preventing the back end from sagging, the front wheels stay fixed to the road for proper steering. I believe the 3/8 bushing was too small and I required 1/2 inch instead. Kaylyn at etrailer.com went above and beyond their normal customer service and got me in touch with the sales rep for Timbren, who promptly sent me the right size in time to make my big trip. He worked with me to find the right size for my after-market lift kit. In a time that companies are indifferent at best, etrailer.com makes the customer feel important in a sincere way. I also love e.trailer's selection and fast shipping.

2015 Lexus GX 460

Definitely a simple and easy to install option to stiffen up the rear of a gx460 my boat is at the maximum capacity of 6500 lb it definitely has a better ride stance and does not squat as much with these installed. I am thinking that I need the airbags in addition to get a little more of a buffer or cushion so that I do not destroy the bearings in the rear end. I probably also need a weight distributing hitch. I feel the price is reasonable for the rear however find that the front timbren kit being the same price is a bit disproportionate the front bump stops are much more simple and do not require the additional manufacturing of a steel support bracket. The price is reasonable for the Rears. I was however disappointed to find that the hardware sent with the kit did not conclude stainless steel bolts. I reused the factory bolts. I also found that I needed an extra washer to completely tighten without a gap. I was able to install these without taking off the tires in about 15 minutes. For their simplicity they are definitely worth the upgrade. I would hope that timbren would offer a lower price for the front units and for the price of the rears give proper stainless steel Hardware instead of zinc plated that will Rust quickly.

Thank you for your review. It would not be helpful to use both the air bags in the coil springs and the timbrens. If you are still experiencing sag, I recommend to use a weight distribution. After 1 year Still happy with my purchase. I have both the Timbren rear suspension enhancement as well as the Air lift system - the combination has made my GX460 much more stable when towing my boat that is at the Max Capacity for the truck. I would definitely install again If I had another GX. I find these to be a great value.

These worked great on my 2003 4Runner Limited. I can tow my 16 / 7 ft. trailer with very little squat on the rear axel ... The install was super easy and I didn't need a jack-stand... Just a wrench... That's It !!
I took some heavy dips on some Mexican roads with a 7,000 lbs trailer (700 lbs tongue weight). Also the rear cab had 500 lbs..... I was doing 55 mph and I believe it saved me from a hard impact.

Lexus GX 460

I am dealing with Timbren. The washer for mounting the rubber spring to the mounting plate clearance hole is too small for the bolt diameter. The washer is not something you can get out without damaging in my opinion. The bolt also will not thread completely into the mounting plate because of poor threads ( not tapped correctly). Galling of bolt if you try to tighten. Very poor QC or inspection at Timbren or wherever. Once again, working eith Timbren on this. Maybe you should check you kits at etrailer!!

Still going strong. When the vehicle is empty, the ride is a little more rigid, but that it to be expected. Anytime the back end is bogged down, these things shine. What a difference when I have to transport heavy renovation materials, which would usually have me squatting. I plan to get some for the front end now that Ive tested the rear for a year. Still the best enhancement Ive made for towing!

Working great. I had read reviews about them being too stiff whem you aren't pulling a trailer, but it seems like they softened up a bit after first putting them on. I felt a few hard jolts going over speed bumps and such the first few days, but now I don't notice them at all when I don't have a trailer attached. They are still improving the ride with a heavy trailer.

I'd give 5 stars but my mechanic neighbor had to help me install them because there was something wrong with the bolts that came in the package. It was a year ago and I can't remember the details. Without him I think I could have returned them and gotten a fix and installed them by myself. It's a very simple install when all the parts are in good shape.

2003 Toyota 4Runner

I put TTORSEQ on the rear of my 2003 4Runner Sport, I had noticed the 4Runner had settled over the years particularly in the rear when I tow a Chalet camper. I was looking for helper springs or replacing the rear springs (very expensive). I was not aware of this type of suspension support but it came up on a Google search.
They work great! There is a significant difference when towing the camper.
ONE recommendation for Timbren. In the installation instructions include torque values for the bolt attaching the bump stop to the bracket. I was surprised at how much torque was required and initially thought Timbren had sent me the wrong bolts - they had not.

2016 Lexus GX 460

excellent upgrade to the stock rubber bumpers in my 2016 Lexus GX 460. The stock has a tendency to drift when hit with cross winds above 60mph. This Timbren front suspension enhancement eliminated that. The SUV is more composed even when driving on rough pavement. Cornering is more secure for a tall SUV such as the 460 with high center of gravity.
It's also easy to install. Jack up the vehicle until the rubber bumper clears the metal then unscrew it. Screw the Timbren in.

Timbren helper bump stop was very easy to install. My boat trailer rides much better after installation. The boat and trailer combined probably only weigh 4200 lbs but the tongue weight is slightly heavier than I would like. Suspension is not being pushed down to the point that affects headlight alignment anymore. Great easy system that allows for normal and comfortable ride when not in use.

Purchased for Lexus GX460. Solves rear sag problem when towing with medium to heavy trailers. I don’t notice any difference in the ride when not towing a trailer with the helper springs. Should really come standard with the vehicle I’m the first place in order to utilize the towing capacity. I would highly recommend this cheap fix.

I recently purchased an InTech Horizon camper with approximately 4,000 and a tongue weight of 475 lbs. To minimize the sag, and after much research, I decided to purchase the Timbren Rear SES bump stocks (Item # TORSEQ) to replace the existing bump stocks on my 2016 4Runner (and once the vehicle was placed on jack stands, the installaion took only about 10-15 minutes.)

Unfortunately, the Andersen Weight Distribution and Swaybar was not in stock and is on backorder. Nonetheless, we hitched the camper to the 4Runner and with the Timbren bump stocks, the 4Runner only dropped 1 1/4 inches. Very impressive and the ride was very smooth.

Without the weight of a trailer or camper, the ride is a little stiffer, but not uncomfortable. Small tradeoff for the benefit of less sag when towing.

I am very pleased and impressed with this produce and even more impressed with the customer service from etrailer. I had ordered the Offroad (TTORSEQ) version of the Timbren bump stocks in error and Kelsey (rep from etrailer) was very cooperative and helpful in arranging for me to return the offroad bump stocks at no expense to me. I then ordered the towing version (TORSEQ) and received them within a week.

I love doing business with a company that appreciates and values their customers, like the great people at etrailer. Again, Kelsey, spent a great deal of time with me on the phone to ensure I was satisfied with my order.

Hey Bob, Since your 2019 Lexus GX 460 is lifted in the back some, the Air Lift 1000 Air Helper Springs # AL94VJ aren't able to reach properly which is why you're not getting the effect you're wanting. You can add multiple of the 1" Spacer # TA25723-90AD00 to the Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System # TTORSEQ so it sits where it needs to instead of there being a big gap. The SumoSprings don't have a spacer kit so you'll want the Timbren kit for your instance.

Will Firestone Air Springs Fit 2019 Toyota 4Runner With Lift

Weight Distribution Recommendation for 2016 LXE Aliner
If you think your tongue weight will be at least 250 lbs the Fastway e2 Weight Distribution # FA92-00-0600 will work great. It sounds like you are really close if not over the figure. It's hard to come up with a WD system for a lower rated setup though. Most applications with that low of a tongue weight either have hitches not rated for WD systems or the WD system just isn't needed. Brake Controller Recommendation for a 2001 Lexus LX 470 with 4-Way
The P3 Brake Controller part # 90195 is an excellent choice for a brake controller so you are off to a great start. To convert the 4-way to a 7-way so that you can install a brake controller all you would need is the part # ETBC7. Will Timbren SES Impact Ride Quality on 2022 Lexus GX460
Hi Shawn; the Timbren SES # TTORSEQ has a tendency to cause a rough ride when you're not towing or hauling anything. They won't cause a problem while you're driving around on nice smooth roads but when you hit bumps you're probably going to notice them. We typically recommend SumoSprings # SS68DR since they're more forgiving and don't have the same impact on unloaded ride quality.

Why Is There No Gap Between The Frame And Timbren SES Kit On A 1994 Dodge Ram 1500
Hi Chet, Timbren SES kits like the # TDR1525H4 and # TDF25004B you installed should have a 1/2" to 1-1/2" gap. If they do not then your factory suspension is going to need to be upgraded/replaced. The coil springs and shocks are likely worn too much to support the weight, causing the vehicle to sag down enough for the Timbren's to engage. Timbrens would be horrible when you are off-roading. It would feel like you were constantly bottoming out your suspension. Your kidneys would hate you.
