Will Timbren or SumoSprings Fit Better on a 2019 Lexus GX 460 with a 2" Lift in the Back

Question:

I have a 2019 Lexus GX460 that is lifted 2inch with Icon 2inch lift springs in the rear. I bought Airlift bags for the springs from you last year but they are nearly worthless towing my trailer as the GX sags almost the same with them as without them. Will either the Sumo or Timbren fit the GX and will they help more than the Airlift bags? Thanks for your help.

Hey Bob,

Since your 2019 Lexus GX 460 is lifted in the back some, the Air Lift 1000 Air Helper Springs # AL94VJ aren't able to reach properly which is why you're not getting the effect you're wanting.

You can add multiple of the 1" Spacer # TA25723-90AD00 to the Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System # TTORSEQ so it sits where it needs to instead of there being a big gap. The SumoSprings don't have a spacer kit so you'll want the Timbren kit for your instance.

Sorry. One more question. Would I need 2 of the spacers then per side?

@BobH You'll want to measure where these install to determine how many you'd need. The spring with the brackets sit 5" tall and you'll need 1/2" to 1-1/2" of a gap below the spring for this kit to work properly. If you measure those 5" and the gap is 7" then you'll need 1 of the 1" spacers per spring to get it in the right range.
