Speaker 1: Today we're looking at a trailer clearance and side marker light. Now, this functions as both a clearance light or side marker light when properly mounted. It features a weather proof housing and lens unit. Has a nice black base with a red lens. It is a LED system containing two diodes or two LED's. So, the LED's are designed to provide bright consistent light out put and they make great replacements for incandescent lights.
LED's last longer, they burn brighter, they're much more efficient. You don't have to worry about replacing bulbs or worry about brittle filaments with LED's.It comes with a wiring. We're looking at a two wire design so, we have red for power, white for ground. It is SAE and department of transportation compliant. It's a surface mount installation so, it mounts on the surface of your trailer.
Mounting hardware not included. You will need two screws to get it installed.When it comes to the overall dimensions, we'll take a measurement. Edge to edge it's about two and five eighths inches long by an inch and a quarter tall. The overall depth, that's how far it sticks out from the mounting surface is about three quarters of an inch. The mount holes on this unit are separated apart from one another on center by one and 15/16th's of an inch.We're going to go ahead and hook it up to power that way you can see what it looks like with some power running to it and we'll be able to turn off our overhead lights so you can see it in a lower light setting.
So again, this unit contains two LED's or two diodes. Multi diode design really helps optimize the overall light output. The LED's are angled. So, this one angles that way and this one angles that way. Offers a really nice design.
This is what's known as the dragon's eye design. Kind of has that line right there in the middle. Offers a really great look for this clearance and side marker light.Again, two LED's, black base, with a red lens. Plenty of light out put with this unit. That's going to do it for today's look at the trailer clearance and side marker light.

Used these on a friends trailer very bright for the size.
These lights are very good and well made.
My cargo trailer and I'm sure many others are supplied with single wire marker lights. They use one of the mounting screws to provide the "ground" connection. With time weather and outdoor exposure causes the ground to fail. Although noticeably more expensive for this 2 wire lamp i believe the wireing integrity is worth the additional cost.
I highly recommend this product.

Most of the lights i bought are still working. others are not . These are not water proof.I guess I read the description wrong. They are very bright.
