Speaker 1: Today we're taking a look at an LED amber trailer clearance and side marker light. This light functions as both a clearance and side marker light when properly mounted. It features a weatherproof housing and lens unit. The lens is amber in color and it contains two white LEDs or diodes. Now, LEDs make great replacements for incandescent lights. They last longer, they burn brighter, they're much more efficient.

You don't have to worry about replacing bulbs or worry about brittle filaments. Here on the back side, you'll notice it has a single wire design. This wire's for power and then it grounds through one of the mounting locations, so it grounds through the mounting hardware. The mounting hardware is not included. It is a surface mount installation.

It's SAE and Department of Transportation compliant.We'll take a look at the overall dimensions real quick and then we'll hook it up to power so you can what it looks like with power running to it. Overall length is about two and five-eighths inches. Going this way edge to edge is an inch and a quarter, and then back to front is three-quarters of an inch deep. Mount holes on this unit are separated on-center by one and fifteen-sixteenths of an inch. We're going to hook up our power source and we can also turn off our overhead lights so you can see it in a lower light setting.

So you can see here it sends out a very bright, consistent signal.Again, this is a two-LED system or two-diode system and the LEDs in there are angled outward, so that way they provide really nice consistent light as it functions as both a clearance light or side marker light for your trailer. The multi dowel design optimizes the overall light output. The amber lens allows plenty of light to come through, and again, it is SAE and Department of Transportation compliant.
