Hi, everyone, Steven here with etrailer.com. Today we're taking a look together at the TecNiq PCP2 Side Marker light. It uses a stainless steel ground and it's a red lens, red color. So, folks, this is powered by two bright LEDs inside of here and you can mount it pretty much any way you want, horizontal or vertical. It is UV-resistant, dust and waterproof, and it's stud-mounted. So, that stud is where you're getting your ground off of, it's going through the metal of your trailer, and it's getting grounded.
So, if for some reason, you're trying to put this on, maybe a fiberglass, plastic, trim piece or something, you need to make sure you're getting a ground wire attached to this nut somehow as well, otherwise this light won't work. And it measures 1 3/4 inches across, one inch wide, and about 1 1/2 inch tall. Runs on 12 volts, and again, stud-mounted, and you do have a nice little pigtail here. So, I do wanna go ahead and get this powered up for you today, so let's take a look together real quick. And I'm just using a little testing box we have here.
So, again, as we can see, I'm getting my ground right off of the stud here. And let's go ahead and turn off the overhead lights so we can get a better view of this in the dark. So, as you can see when my wire's hooked back up, we have a nice, bright LED, again, vertical or horizontal, whichever way you wanna mount it. And obviously, you know, you'd be having it grounded through the trailer frame, so you won't have to worry about it. I just don't have a big enough eye of the other clip here to hold it tight, so bear with me.
And again, red obviously, great bright. Let's see if I can keep this lit up and zoom out here and give you a better view far away as well, so, you can see, there we go. So if you're far away even you're gonna be able to notice this while you're driving, people are gonna see you, you're gonna be visible to other pedestrians and drivers alike. So this would be a great safety thing as well if you're replacing one of your lights or some of that nature as well. So again, folks, the TecNiq PCP2 in red.
I'm Steven, thanks for watching.
Joshua B. Went above and beyond for me. I will definatly keep doing business with etrailer. Thanks again Josh.
