Hola neighbors, It's Brad here at etrailer. And today we're taking a look and installing the Optronics Red Reflector. That's gonna be nice and easy to just press on and give us the illumination we need without having to run wires. Now, sometimes when driving a trailer and it's dusk and lights are in the eyes of other drivers, you may not have your headlights on yet. But it's gonna be hard to see that trailer. And having a reflector when those headlights, or just the light, hits it is gonna be a great way to let them know that there is a trailer ahead of them.
These are gonna be a quick easy way to denote any protruding portions of your trailer. And you can obviously stick them wherever you want. And that way you can see the outside diameters of anything that's sticking out, like our fender here. Now these are made of acrylic. And so they are relatively strong here.
I don't worry too much about them cracking, even during impact. And as far as size goes, they are a nice little footprint coming in at 3 and 3/16 by 1 and 7/16. And they are DOT compliant. So this is a quick easy way to make your trailer a little bit more visible and just be safer out on the road. The installation's gonna be extremely easy.
The hardest part is gonna be making sure that your trailer fender, or wherever you're mounting it to, is gonna be prepped. So since ours is going on the fender, it had some build up. So we actually sanded that down. Put a nice coat of paint on there. That way it's nice and solid and flat.
Now, this has a double-sided adhesive here. So, really once you have your surface prepped, the hardest part also is gonna be just determining exactly where you want it. And making it even with the other side. So to get this on, just peel this off. And you can see it's got some nice foam here, so there's gonna be a little bit of give. So you kind of contour exactly. Even on this curve, it should be no problem. And, you can see, it says top molded in. So we're gonna keep that facing this way and I've gone ahead and kind of found the spot where I wanna mount it. So we'll go ahead. Just get this pressed in place. Just gonna put a little pressure here. And that's gonna do it. And that was a look at the Optronics Red Rectangular Reflector..

Fenders worked out better than the original fenders on the trailer. Made my own brackets and mounted fenders with reflectors.

I have installed these Red Conspicuity Reflectors on the blacked-out bumper portion of my 2014 Toyota Corolla. The upper portion of the blacked-out bumper was too curved and the surface too rough to mount these reflectors. The reflectors adhesive sticks fairly well to this surface, but because the surface is slightly curved, it will be necessary to mount the reflectors with small black screws. I have not yet found the appropriate screws for this application. Otherwise I find these reflectors an attractive and functional addition to the automobile.
Perfect fit, no drilling for new mounting holes.
I was even able to use my existing bulb and bulb holder, just replaced the broken housing.

Bought two of these along with two amber ones to replace the already peeling off "paper style" reflectors on my brand new enclosed trailer. I really like the foam backing so they don't peel off as easily. Another great purchase from etrailer!

I have had the reflectors for over a year and they are doing great and there is no reason for them not to last for years to come. These are the go to people for your trailer parts.
I had looked all over my area here on the central coast of California for these simple stick on reflectors for our horse trailer. I broke a reflector off of my boatmate trailer. Another store wanted 4$ + 10.50 to ship a new one. Etrailers had the exact same reflector for less than half the cost. I bought one plus a backup for another accident which will probably happen eventually. Very happy. etrailers.com pulled through. Since I have a 1986 boat and trailer, the trailer reflector lights have disappeared due to age. These replacement reflector lights are great. High quality and easy to install. I have never installed or used a brake controller before. I used the connector that was suggested plugged it into the car's connector followed the instructions and it worked with no issues the hardest part, in my Subaru Ascent, was finding a place to put it luckily it fit in a cubby to the left of the steering wheel.
The lights were received right on time. The amber lights are bright and fit perfect on our seadoo trailer The reflectiors were also perfect. Thanks for a great product.
Like always I am extremely satisfied with etrailer and their parts and service. The part was exactly what I ordered and was delivered un harmed and in a timely manner. The size matched perfectly to the description, and seems to have a good quality peel and place adhesive. Installation is very straight forward and requires no tools, other than I would recommend cleaning the surface with alcohol before placement.
Nice reflectors. I stuck mine on 3 years ago and they're holding up just fine. These got my trailer through state inspection, which requires red reflectors on the rear corners.
These are identical to the original reflectors on our 1999 Champion Boat Trailer.
Measurements of the item are correct and come with a adhesive backing installed on back of reflector.
Instead of using the sticker that came on the power wheels to represent a reflector I use these. Durable and outstanding quality

Still holding strong
Product was received in a timely manner and was as depicted in the product information. Small details such as this are important because they completed my project in a professional way. The trailer looks new and the reflectors (along the with the lights) offer good visibility for safety.

After 1 year, product still working perfectly!
Quickly replaced the three small incandecent lamps in the DOT ID bar while re-wiring and upgrading all lighting on my utility trailer to LED's. These are very bright and visible in daylight with far less power draw.
I am very satisfied with my experience with etrailer. The parts I received appear to be very good quality. I have not installed them yet though as I am waiting on Hurricane Michael to pass through. However the lights do seem to be very solidly built. I needed this style and etrailer was the one that had it.
