Hey, everybody. Ryan here at etrailer. Today we're gonna be checking out the Peterson Stick-On Trailer Reflector. Adding a reflector like this to your trailer is a real simple way to get a little more visibility, you know, so these work real good in spots where you can't necessarily run a light, or you just don't feel like running a light there. Now remember, these aren't going take the place of lights. You still need all your lights to function properly on your trailer to stay legal.

But like I said, great way just to add a little extra something. With these being red in colored, you generally want these to face towards the back of the trailer. So how we have it set up here. If you're gonna be doing the front or the sides of the trailer, I recommend the amber-orange colored ones like this. And, you know, just wanted to to mention that.

Since these are, you know, held in place with two-sided sticky tape, you can mount these up pretty much anywhere, right As long as you're gonna have the space to do so. When you do mount these up, make sure the surface is clean, you know, you can use some rubbing alcohol, make sure it's dry. That's what I usually do. And, you know, like I said, as long as you have the space, you should be in good shape. So, the overall length of this is going to be three and one eight of an inch.

And in terms of the height, it's going to be an inch and three eights. Comparing this reflector to other ones, you know, they're all relatively the same. One that kind of stands out a little bit more to me though, is this Optronics one. It's a little bit thicker. It has kind of this black trim ring around it, you know, looks a little more finished, in my opinion.

But you know, it's just gonna depend on your application and what you're going for. A lot of times too, you know, when people are putting these reflectors and stuff on, usually kind of giving the whole trailer facelift.
