Superior Corrosion Resistance for Marine Use
This trailer hub assembly is constructed of corrosion-resistant, rustproof stainless steel. It's superior construction makes it the best choice for use on your boat or snowmobile trailer. Stainless steel is durable enough to last in freshwater environments, but it can withstand saltwater applications as well. Even after extended use in saltwater, it shows little to no rust or corrosion.
Determining the Bolt Pattern
The first number in the bolt pattern is the number of bolt holes. The second number denotes the diameter, in inches, of the circle on which the bolt holes sit.
To determine the bolt-circle diameter on wheels with an odd number of bolt holes, measure from the center of any bolt hole to the point halfway between the two bolt holes directly across from the first. (Example: "5 on 4-1/2" means 5 bolt holes with 4-1/2" measured to a point halfway between the opposite bolt holes.)
On wheels with an even number of bolt holes, measure from the center of one bolt hole to the center of the hole directly across from it. (Example: "8 on 6-1/2" means 8 bolt holes with 6-1/2" from the center of one hole to the center of another on the opposite side.)
Measuring the distance from the center of one bolt hole on the wheel to the center of a bolt hole right next to it can also help to determine the bolt pattern.
The parts were right on an good price and arrived quickly.
Got exactly what I was expecting got here really quick and it’s exactly what I need to complete my job
High quality product
Awesome service and fast shipping…thank you
Absolutely fantastic product and very well made. Perfect fit and finish. Couldn’t be happier this this SS hub and Kodiak Brakes to match.
Greg S and the entire etrailer staff is top-notch. The product is awesome and fitment is perfect. I wish the hubs would have come with new lug nuts...they don’t.
may cost a little more but I have not had any problems and Drive from Birmingham Al to Panama city beach Fl. at least 6 times a year to put my sea hunt off shore boat in to fish (Salt water) No corrosive at all yet only one flat tire
Thank you for the great service
:)
Caution about wheel size.
Listing says works with "15 Inch Wheel".
Hub flange is 6" diameter although not specified in the listing.
Some (many?) 15" wheels actually need 6.5" hub flange diameter, mine sure do. Measure the outside diameter of contact surface on back of wheel, see what diameter is needed to support it fully.
If you add a brake rotor then yes, they probably do work with 15" wheels.
Otherwise they're pretty nice hubs, although expensive.
Cheap no name bearing races installed, like most hubs.
If you're going all out with stainless hubs why not also US made Timken bearing races and bearings
These stainless steel hubs are a must on trailers going into saltwater ! Thank you guys !!!
Good quality overall and installed without any issues. But be aware that the studs were short when installed with the Kodiak stainless brake rotors, and not as long as the glamor shots show. The ends of the studs just barely protrude from the nut when fully torqued. I didn't get to measure them, but I question if they're 2 inches like the specs say.
Extremely pleased with these. Shipping was fast and complete. They keep you informed about your order every step of the way.
Excellent product, price, and service!
Look ma, no rust after being dipped in salt water several ties
Changed out my old standard steel oil bath hubs for stainless steel and grease hubs. The site was very helpful in selecting the correct parts. The swap out and installation went well (except for a frozen lug nut). Since I launch the boat in saltwater most of the time, I am looking forward to hubs that aren't constantly rusting.
Thanks etrailer!

Ive had these hubs for a year now and they are working great. On multiple occasions,Ive launched in salt water without a wash facility and left the trailer for 24+ hours without any noticeable rust or corrosion. If you launch in salt, i would highly recommend these hubs and breaks.
great hubs I have them on a snowmobile trailer. Stainless steel is a must on a snowmobile trailer. It's disappointing trailer manufacturers don't think, and use cheap quality parts on trailers that run in nothing but salt. I also converted the cheap rusted electric drum brakes over to SS hyd. disc brakes on this trailer, well worth it! etrailer has all the parts and was great to work with!
The price was the best out there and delivery was prompt.
So it's been a year now, and I love it! With saltwater boating, there's already enough things to worry about breaking, so it's nice to have the peace-of-mind of knowing that I don't have to worry about my corroding brake parts. Sure, it's expensive, but after replacing a few rotors, the break-even point is quickly realized. After one year, they still work well and look great.
The product itself is great. However, for over $xxxx bolts should have been provided for the brackets, and the hubs should have been complete and loaded with grease. One of your competitors sells the package 100% complete. When checking out it tells you what else you might need. Maybe I should have read things more closely but I just figured with everything I was buying why would anyone NOT want the bolts for the bracket or a loaded hub even if it cost more. It cost me 3/4 of a day and $xxx. to run around trying to find the little pieces so I could do the job. I still haven't finished yet. I had the one weekend window to do it in.
Very nice hub that doesn’t rust. Would recommend using the SS buddy bearing cap. And spend the extra on the all rubber seal.

They still work fine. etrailer has not updated the listing to indicate the hub without brakes will not work with many or all? 15 wheels.
