Draw-Tite hidden hitch was very easy to install on 2018 RX450h F-Sport. Just had to remove a plastic underbody panel that covers the area where the hitch is installed. Zero modifications needed. The hitch is a little bit heavy to install by one person but I was able to do so by propping one end up with a cardboard box while getting the other end bolted on. The 2” hitch receiver is a bit tight to get installed the first time, but that will probably ease up over time.
Very pleased with the hitch and feels very solid. Did a road test with bikes loaded and will be taking the e-bikes out for a road trip this weekend.
Dealership wouldn't install as they don't want RX450h's without the tow kit hauling weight. But we have bike racks & small trailers. Works great for camping! And it works around our F-sport trim (first vehicle, we had to make extender bolts, but with this new hitch, it installs like a breeze!) Look for my review regarding installing the lighting kit. This was a fantastic purchase. We doubted the install would work since we have the odd Fsport trim. Not at all a problem. Great fit. Easy to install. Be sure to install the top weather cover before mounting the hidden receiver to the main hitch bar. Love the hidden look. Knob locks open when removing the receiver and then it is just a push click to reinstall. I would recommend this hitch

Had seen other product reviews which told of damaged parts etc. Installations was easy. Used a small floor jack on a riser to lift into place. I didn't hurry & spent maybe 30 minutes wrench on bolt time. Bent heat shield out of the way a little by the muffler. Was worried about the hands free rear door sensor working properly, but it works fine no issues!! Cost was $[XX] more than I was quoted for a non stealth hitch installed, so I am pleased with this hitch even though more expensive. This product is as advertised and I am extremely pleased!!
The hitch is great, no problems. Bad news, the first hitch you set me was the wrong one. Good news, some how you managed to the get the correct one to me the next day in time for the camping trip.
hard to distinguish between rx450h and rx450hl, made a mistake and order the wrong one (have a 450hl). should be listed as un-available,
I really like the product. It is exactly what I was looking for. I installed this product by myself in about 20 minutes. It fit perfectly. high quality hardware included. The customer experience with e-tailer is very positive. I highly recommend this product. coupling the receiver to the mount is a little tricky. I recommend installing the receiver prior to torquing the mounting bolts to make sure it is aligned with the vehicle.
Bad customer service. The delivery date came and still no sign of the hitch. I was told to wait another week. I ended up ordering from [online vendor], and received a hitch within a couple of days.
The hitch was delivered before scheduled delivery date. Shipped quickly. The box was damaged, as the assembly was not secured in the box, but no damage to the unit. Bolted up easily and trouble free.
I have purchased several hitches from E-trailer for installation on personal vehicles without a problem but this Hidden Hitch is just basically a very very bad idea. First one was defective in that the blue knob just continues to rotate and the second couldnt be rotated at all. The third is now installed on the car and cannot be removed so basically I have a permanent hitch for twice the price of a conventional hitch. For twice the price. I got a whole lot of aggravation and frustration.
Great hitch. Easy to install though it did require cutting the underbody appearance shield which was not mentioned in the install instructions. The instructions state a 20-minute installation which is possible but only if you didn't need to cut into the shield which took me a bit of time to ensure it was perfect. The end result is fabulous as it looks like a factory hitch installation so I'm going to leave the receiver mount in place rather than taking it on and off. Pre-purchase customer service was fabulous!
The Hidden Hitch works perfectly for our Lexus. We are super pleased that you can't see anything until you put the receiver in. Installation was smooth and overall, we are super happy with this purchase. We would recommend this hitch to anyone. Well worth the extra dollars to have the hitch hidden from sight. We would purchase this item again!

Innovative idea hiding the hitch. Easily installed without modifications to the body. If only the tongue load capacity can be increased, it would receive a perfect 5 out of 5 stars.
