The instructions for the Hidden Hitch by Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver # DT58GR call for bending the heat shield on your 2020 Lexus RX 350 as necessary so it isn't touching the hitch. So you shouldn't have to trim it or anything, it's just a matter of making sure there is some space between it and the hitch itself.
