Question:

2022 Lexus RX450HL and want a receiver style hitch to carry bikes. No electrical wiring needed. BUT, we do not want to defeat the foot kick sensor. Do you have a product that will allow me to have the best of both worlds? Hitch and not lose the kick sensor?

Hello Kevin, we sure do! Take a look at the following:

This is custom fit for the 2022 Lexus RX450h. It has a removable receiver so when the hitch is not in use you can remove it and the sensor functionality will not be lost. it has a 350 lb tongue weight capacity which will be plenty for a bike rack and a few bikes.

What kind of bikes do you have? Are you in the market for a bike rack?

We have the “L” version of this car. The 2022 Lexus RX450HL. This is the 3 row seat version. Will this work with the “L” model?

@KevinW So I double checked with Draw-Tite and they do not confirm the # DT58GR to fit the L model. The L model has the same platform and the same chassis as the base model and the mounting points for the hitch will still be present. The only potential issue would be the rear bumper on the L model because it may require additional modifications that would not be covered in the instructions. So basically there is a very good chance it can be made to fit, but it is not something we can guarantee because we have not physically tested it here at our shop.
