The highest capacity hitch for a 2024 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited is the Draw-Tite item # DT78MR. This hitch is custom fit and bolts to your Jeep with included hardware.
The Draw-Tite item # DT78MR is a class III hitch with a 2" receiver. It has a 4,500 lbs towing capacity and a 675 lbs maximum tongue weight.
I really like this hitch because of the ease of installation. Getting it set up only requires installing four bolts to preexisting holes in your Jeep's bumper.
I have attached a couple of pictures below along with an installation video to help you get this hitch set up and show you what it looks like once installed.
If you are planning on towing you will also need a wiring harness item # 56407 and a ball mount kit item # C45534.
I recommend using the Curt Mounting Bracket for 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector item # C42CR to secure the 4-way connector to the tab on the Draw-Tite item # DT78MR hitch. This will put it in an easy to reach spot and prevent the risk of it falling onto the road.
