Recommended Hitch and Wiring Harness for a 2024 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sport w/out the Tow Package

Question:

I have a 24 wrangler sport s, no tow package. My bike rack swing arm I am buying Kuat pivot 2.0 for Kuat Nv 2.0 requires a class iii hitch. I also need a wiring harness and would like one that closely resembles OEM. Recommendations?

I checked with our vendors and to add a hitch to your 2024 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sport you will need the Curt item # C13392. This hitch has been confirmed to fit the 2024 models so long as yours does not have a diesel engine.

This hitch will work great with either of the Kuat Pivot Swing Away Adapters item # PVD20B for the driver's side or the more popular item # PVP20B for the passenger side. Both are compatible with the Kuat NV 2.0 Base Bike Rack item # BA22B you mentioned.

Since your Jeep does not have the tow package you will need the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness item # 56407. This custom-fit T-connector plugs into your Jeep's wiring harness, which is located behind the tail lights. It will provide you with a 4-flat connector.

I checked with Curt this harness does fit the 2024 Wranglers. I do not know what the OEM harness looks like but this is our only option for an aftermarket wiring harness at this point because the vehicles are brand new.
