Built for light-duty towing jobs, this Curt Class I hitch gives you a 1-1/4" x 1-1/4" receiver opening rated for 2,000 lbs maximum gross trailer weight and 200 lbs maximum tongue weight. It’s perfect for small trailers, boats, or lightweight campers. The sturdy square-tube frame delivers solid performance when you’re pulling extra gear or supplies.
If you’d rather carry gear than tow it, this receiver works great with bike racks and cargo carriers designed for Class I hitches. It’s a simple way to expand what your vehicle can haul—two bikes for the weekend, a cargo tray for road trips, or extra storage for tools and equipment. A concealed cross tube keeps the setup looking neat under the bumper.
This custom-fit hitch is engineered to line up with factory mounting points. The bolt-on design means no welding required and no cutting or drilling into the frame. All necessary hardware and instructions are included, so most folks can get it done in an afternoon using basic tools right at home.
Every weld is done with precision robotics for consistent strength and alignment. The gloss black powder coat finish sits over a protective base layer to fight rust and corrosion from road salt or rain. That durable coating keeps the hitch looking sharp while standing up to everyday use.

The mounting flanges on a trailer hitch are designed for straight line strength, not lateral strength. The flanges are actually designed to have some give in them, so that they can flex along with the vehicle. This way, if they get flexed during shipping, they can be easily manipulated back into place. As long as the powder coat didnt crack and there arent any cracks in the mounting flange itself, the hitch will work just fine after being moved back into place. Ill link you to a help article that shows a few different methods of manipulating the hitch back into place.
