Re: Curt 11487. You show this hitch withe receiver pointed down. This requires a adapter. I have seen pictures on the car with the receiver pointed to the rear. Please let me know which is correct.

When properly installed on a 2004-2007 Scion xB, the receiver opening sits level and does not angle down. I have included a link to a video install on a 2008 xB so you can see how the install works and how the hitch sits.
